I always love your book recommendations/reviews and typically add at least one per month to my TBR. Just finished Annihilation and I have Sorrowland up next from my library holds!
Lovely video once more - I've added The Membranes and The Change to my TBR so thx for the recs too ^^ my favorite read in April was The Spear Cuts Through Water by Simon Jimenez
i adore your reading journals so much, i can't wait for the next! i love Murderbot Diaries, such a good series. i can't pick *a* favorite for April - so here's my top of the list (in no other order than oldest to newest): The Lady in Glass and Other Stories by Anne Bishop Darker by Four (Darker by Four, #1) by June C.L. Tan Your Blood, My Bones by Kelly Andrew Dead Girls Walking by Sami Ellis The Feast Makers (Scapegracers, #3) by H.A. Clarke Merciless Saviors (The Ouroboros, #2) by H.E. Edgmon Fair Market Value (Body Shop, #1) by Hailey Edwards Fog & Fireflies by T.H. Lehnen The Wings Upon Her Back by Samantha Mills Wicche Hunt (The Sea Wicche Chronicles, #2) by Seana Kelly
I'm curious how you've found some of the books you've read, like The Membranes? Excellent wrap up as usual, def added a few more to my TBR list. Also loved just how beautiful (and yet simple to do) the glow lights at the corners of the reviews were. I sadly didn't get to do much reading, but reading through Reforged by Seth Haddon. I've been enjoying it so far!
Thank you so much for watching! Mostly I get my recommendations from watching book UA-cam or checking out Bookstagram, or I will get some recommendations from the StoryGraph app or my library, and then third, sometimes I’ll search for articles, like “sci-fi by black authors” or something like that. For The Membranes I must have seen it on Instagram.

Oh nice! I should read that one, I’ve read The Vanished Birds by the same author, but not The Spear Cuts Through Water
Such a beautiful layout!
Thank you so much!
Funny you mention All Systems Red cuz I read it in April, too. But my favorite books of the month were House of Hollow and Cloud Cuckoo Land.
Nice! I’ve been meaning to read House of Hollow but I never seem to get to it.
