Thank you for directing me here from Twitter! I now have two places to add to my to do list for my next trip, as I think I should be able to climb Conic Hill, and Inveruglas looks so pretty!
Oaah the scenery is so stunning, mountains and clouds and colors and winds in the hair.... and everything..you are the luckiest lass....thanks for sharing this!!!
Scotland is so pretty! 40 days until my trip. I'm super excited to see it for myself. I just hope it's not a torrential downpour the whole time I'm there.
I recently ventured up Conic Hill for the first time a few weeks ago and it looks as though it was just as windy for you both. The views on offer for such a short walk are amazing. Glencoe for me soon but sure it'll be wet this time of year now ☔
Erin i LOVE ths vid!!! the title js fits it perfectly, one of scotlands prettiest, AMY!!!!!! pls tke amylicious on more wlkn adventures wif u!!! amy is the fairest maiden in all the land!!
I've just come back from visiting Scotland and I want to thank you for recommending Glencoe. I remembered you saying it was a great place to hike several times in your videos and so we stopped there on our way up from Glasgow to Flodigary (Isle of Skye). I can't begin to describe how beautiful it was. Everywhere was waterfalls, drifting clouds, purple heather, rolling hills and mountains... I wan't to go back and hike the whole West Highland Way now that I've seen what it's really like there. Anyway, thanks for your videos and recommendations.
We were at Glencoe Mountain Cafe on september 6 on holiday. Back in the states now, but crazy that we were probably there around the same time! I love your videos!
The other day I saw a video of you explaining what words meant in Scottish. Well, At the beginning of this video you said you'd forgotten your muff (well, in NZ muff means a Lady Garden). So I had a little laugh about that.
This was one of the first hills I climbed with pals back in the mid 2000s. I saw the sunset! Glencoe is one of my fave spots in Scotland, try to get there once a year
Loved seeing this! The heather is so pretty.(it is novel for Canadians as it doesn't grow naturally here) Thanks for the travel ideas- heading across the pond next summer and love the idea of hiking the wild places. I always enjoy your vlogs. Keep em comin! :)
Thanks to you I'm gathering enough courage to go alone in my car to expolre! (and actually I am wating for the temperatures droping dow because I can't function with this hot in here... Once again thank you so much for being real and such an inspiration! You are great! (:
Glad you showed the wee sheep after commenting "There's so much poo on the ground", had me wondering where it might have come from since you had to pee in the bushes last hillwalk. I sometimes forget that your Nature is much more natural than ours (as in, not-dead), with the sheepies and wild haggises. And the smart lass remembered that I would have remarked about the wind on your microphone yet again ;) Aye, you and Amy are right bonnie lassies, both insides and outsides, prettified with makeup or "as-is" blown-by-the-winds. Hugs for ye both
We done this at the start of August, we had to go up the Conic doing the West Highland Way. Started chucking it down when we got to the top so 2 of us ran down, I say 2 but I kept falling on my arse so 1 running, 1 sliding
I love your videos, but I still think they are too short, I could watch you doing anything for hours... hiking, talking, driving a car, washing dishes, hugging lambs, laundry, hunting ghosts, reading books, licking turtles, ordering coffee, killing zombies... whatever, please make more and longer videos. I just love it. thank you so much, please do more.
Looks great out there, cold weather and all. I mentioned somewhere else, you should do a road trip near Loch Ness and visit the Boleskin cemetery for us. I hear the house had a fire.....just take someone with you.
Beautiful scenes. A little difficult to understand you (my fault). I love mountains & country walks. I salute you from Chicago, but I'm Mexican. Thanks for sharing this about your Scotland !
I drove my wee model radio control car all the way up a few times. If you seen an adult, trying to hide with an RC model up there be sure and say hiya!
"I Love that Mountain!!!" hahaha, I don't know how many times I've driven by that mountain and I've never just pulled over and stared at it. It's so photogenic!
So many pretty places you go to hike in Scotland! Feeling pretty jealous of your weather right now... It's so damn hot and humid in the Southeastern part of the US that I don't even want to walk from my house to my car. Last Christmas we were wearing shorts and short sleeves at Christmas. Ridiculous!
Good job on the video. The Highlands look amazing. Can not wait to go hiking. You are improving on your craft. . . .Could you please make/film a day trip to Eilean Donan. . . .Its going to be my 1st place I visit next year. . . .It once belonged to my family the MacKenzie"s before her time. . . . . Thanks Erin.
So you made a whole video to just wear your new fleece. Too funny. Anyway I love the out door video. Scotland is so beautiful. Though I think Amy was mad at you up on the hill; I don't know why though And she did run away for you LOL :D HAHA.
Great hill need to get up that one some time but ken this I ca nae for the life of me get good walking boots do you have any suggestions for a good brand of boots
Honestly, I've been using these 40 quid Trespass boots for a few years now and they've lasted fine! And they're comfy. So I'm not the best person to ask :p. You can do Conic in trainers though depending on the weather!
Two questions: 1) is that your new car? (Looks nice!) 2) Is the stripe on the road between opposing lanes white? In the US, white stripes are between lanes going the same direction and yellow stripes are for opposing directions. I'd be really messed up in Scotland...
Yeah it's just a wee ford fiesta - got it in march time I think! And yeah all road markings in Scotland are white, but they just separate the lanes (apart from yellow lines in areas you can't park etc). There's signs that tell you everything else.
Mmm I get so relaxed by seeing the nature, seeing you drink coffee in your car, etc.
Your instagram pics from this trip should be in every Scottish tour book! Lovely!
Aww thank you very much!
Love Glen Coe, Buachaille Etive Mòr is the best Munro to climb, amazing views from the top ⛰
It's been my fave so far!
Thank you for directing me here from Twitter! I now have two places to add to my to do list for my next trip, as I think I should be able to climb Conic Hill, and Inveruglas looks so pretty!

Fantastic video Erin, I love the outdoor trips you take. Me and my family did Conic Hill last weekend.
Thank you very much! It's a goody!

Perhaps eating some crisps if I'm lucky 😄
Sitting in the car is my FAVE. Love it!

We were at Glencoe Mountain Cafe on september 6 on holiday. Back in the states now, but crazy that we were probably there around the same time! I love your videos!

It really is! Rain or no rain :D
WOW that is SO beautiful!!

Stay safe!

Hahaha oh dear!
Whoa! Wild Haggis in the background @ 1:45. Looks like the Dropbear I seen in Austrailia.
Hey Erin that was pretty cool & bit funny just a bit, mesmerizing views.
Thanks! Just a bit?! :OOOO
Alright a BIG bit funny although your normally funny / entertaining euphoric / happy / anxious, I better just stop there or here.
I haven't been to Glen Coe in sooooo long, you're making me have withdrawal 😫😫
I want to go ALL THE TIMEEEE
Hurray, you uploaded a new outdoors video :D My fav ones! What temperature was it?

I forgive you just because I love your videos :p jk
Looks great out there, cold weather and all. I mentioned somewhere else, you should do a road trip near Loch Ness and visit the Boleskin cemetery for us. I hear the house had a fire.....just take someone with you.
I visited Inverness for a video in the past but I'm not in a huge rush to go back :p it's a bit overrated! Maybe one day!
Erin Yep, figured it might be, outside of Inverness looks pretty.
ohhhhhh conic hills so fun I've been there a few times
Beautiful scenes. A little difficult to understand you (my fault). I love mountains & country walks. I salute you from Chicago, but I'm Mexican. Thanks for sharing this about your Scotland !
'Its sunny right now but in 2 seconds its going to be torrential'
Said every weather man of Scotland ever =D
You should take a walk up the pentlands in Edinburgh lots of good walks
I drove my wee model radio control car all the way up a few times. If you seen an adult, trying to hide with an RC model up there be sure and say hiya!

Good job on the video. The Highlands look amazing. Can not wait to go hiking. Thank you! Maybe one day. No plans to go up that way anytime soon!
similar to here (Appalachians in NC/US), weather, wind, etc. 'cept we have trees =P
think I'd feel naked on a mountain with no trees....lol
I get a kick out of how a guest appearance by Amy always brings out your inner comedian, Erin.
Hahaha I can't act like that own my own too much :') so it helps to be around people so I can annoy them :D
Like the intermission music! :-)
Same!
That was really a very nice hill, and its fifty times bigger than the hill behind my house.
It's very very nice!
What camera do you use? and i wish there were places to hike near me :'(
So you made a whole video to just wear your new fleece. Too funny. Anyway I love the out door video. Scotland is so beautiful. Though I think Amy was mad at you up on the hill; I don't know why though And she did run away for you LOL :D HAHA.
Haha not quite but always helps to have a new fleece 😂 - hahah she wasn't mad, she's used to it!
:) HA
Good job hen 💜💜💜
Thank you! :)
Erin your welcome cheers
I always think you're saying "hell walk" as in, it's incredibly difficult lol
SO fun! SO pretty! SO great! The solitude. The coffee. The weather. ALL of it is so appealing. But you 2 need to be locked up. Couple of weirdos. Ha!
Truth.
I went up there last week
Yaaas!

Did you hear Rough Guide travel guides has named Scotland the most beautiful country in the world
I did :)
Two questions: 1) is that your new car? (Looks nice!) 2) Is the stripe on the road between opposing lanes white? In the US, white stripes are between lanes going the same direction and yellow stripes are for opposing directions. I'd be really messed up in Scotland...

Loch Lomond was the scotch that Captain Haddock drank in Tintin
Snowy liked it too
