Since Yuyoyuppe don't make rock songs anymore , I'm getting more and more listening to songs from Okame-P/Calvi Taro.. And it's always been my lullaby..🤟🤘👍
My only exposure to music is a discarded past of basic acoustic guitar, a single class in music appreciation, and a few chats with a rockstar with whom I've worked, but I draw much inspiration from オカメP as well. "Lullaby"... what a perfect way to relate to and describe it. In listening to commonalities of the "lullaby" type sound in musical examples such as this track, I'd encourage choosing minor scales, a heavy degree of consonance in both lyrics (esp. in vowel sounds and rhyme), and an emphasis on bass. There's perhaps a degree of minimalism in it, as well. The dreamy sound in the melody lines is made from soft vocals that are repeatedly layered in harmonies and varying pitches with each other.
