My 2 favourites Coconut Water with Jelly and Snow Cone. When I worked in Port of Spain, I carried my own big cup to the snow cone man in the Promenade. And to the coconut vendor on Edward St. I live in South now. Almost everyday I making snow cone at home.
One memory I had is walking with friends I could remember it was right opposite of QRC it had coconut vendors and a Indian man and a Indian woman used to fry and sell polourie. It was fun walking in the evening in those days, now things ate different.
Winning Junior King and Queen in 2012 and coming back to win it in 2018 and in 2019 all this happen on the Big Stage this is memories that i will never forget ❤
This is also a delicacy in Hawaii. The only difference is, they add cooked black beans first. Then they add condensed milk, shaved ice, flavored fruit coloring topped by another layed of condensed milk. Delish! 😋

Hi Jadee,that snocone look delish. Coconut water and jelly is my absolute favorite. My fondest memory was a Carnival Tuesday with my mom back in 60's. Can't wait to visit TnT,in mean while thanks for road trip. By the way don't forget to wear your mask be safe.

Donkey years ago, I used to walk through de Savannah from St. James Sec en route to Bossierre Lane in Belmont Valley Road. Also, everybody who get married used to go take de Botanical Gardens to take pictures. Good Ole Days.

in Texas, when I was a kid, we will visit the zoo then the hallows, take a piece of cardboard and slide down the hills, I’ll go with the snow cone with milk, you can’t beat it, guava syrup.

Tony's is not the best coconut you wrong about that. The first coconut man to sell there was Johnny coconut father I am tell you is years ago. Tony's come long after fighting down all the rest of coconut vendors. Tony's die some years an his son sell the name to some new people who take away other coconut vendors stall an that same one man who runs Tony's coconut stall is the same man an his family take away the bread from the rest of coconut vendors an that same side only one stall of johnny coconut stall remain because johnny afraid of that family. One family come from no way have all them coconut stall. An I just watch how people like you support evil minded people. So I am no longer supporting you guys because u all always feel you all know it all. Is okay one man an his daughter an family come from no way an just take away a bread from other families shame on you all.
