Series 66 up until the exam changes on June 12, 2023 has 5 questions that come from section 1 of the content outline, and 20 questions that come from Section 2 of the content outline. As of the exam change on June 12, 2023, there will be 8 questions from the Section 1 content and only 17 questions from Section 2, so three questions less on section 2, but three more questions on the section 1 topics. That's what I meant when I said three questions moved from section 2 to 1. Same overall 100 question exam! Section 3 and 4 remain the same number of questions as before. Hope that is helpful. They will not be testable topics until June 12, 2023. The passing score for you will still be 94/130 and these topics will not count towards that score (they may be "pre-test" questions - there are always 10 questions on each test that do NOT count) Sending you all good thoughts for Monday! It is always a frustrating time for students for sure. For SECURE 2.0 the big changes are the RMD age is now 73! Starting in 2024 Roth 401(k)s and Roth TSA will NOT be subject to RMDs at all! This year, the penalty for not taking an RMD, or for taking too little, decreased from 50% to 25%, and if you catch it and fix it within 2 years the penalty is only 10%, so that's a big one!
