The song coming out Friday sounds super dope
As someone who has followed this band since before the Gravity EP was even released I have to say I love how far they have come in the past 10 or so years. Still way too many people sleeping on Against the Current though. Everything they do is excellent.
I think that someday Chrissy will sing a cowboy song with pieces of rock
haha funny thing you say this, in an other interview with them (by nine32) they talked about how they could've been a country band. :') You should check it out if you haven't seen it yet.

Did they even say anything about a new album? I just skimmed through it and only heard her talking about features 😭

New album probably never. It's been six years since their last one, and they've been active this entire time, so I feel like if they were actually going to release another album, they would have done so by now. They are more interested in milking out their singles.
To be fair they released Fever in 2021. Yes that was an EP, not an album. But it's more than a single. Not that there's anything wrong with releasing a bunch of singles. I'm sure they will put out another album when they are ready. This year or maybe 2025 would be reasonable I think.
