Love the video! Even tho its such a horrible situation for all the German people, you can feel hope and solidarity just by looking at them. I recomend everyone that got interested to read a little about occupied Berlin. Also, as a Pole I have to recommend you checking out the photos and videos of ruined Warsaw after the uprising of 1944. Some really strong stuff.
Vin yeah I get that.. I know what happend I am from Germany.. but what do they want to say with that..? they want to go back to that time? Or the time after that? Or (and that would not be cool) the time before? Very odd video that's easy to misinterpret I think..
The video is a documentary. It just wants to show how the war and the conflicts can turn a city into dust, literally. When you forget for a moment all the implications that this meant for the city in the later years, all you see is a city in ruin. Beside that, for us, Berlin means a lot for our growth, in a spiritual way.
Thalos Band that's cool! i was just wondering.. I think for germans especially this is a very sensitive topic so some people might get this wrong. we shouldn't forget that it was the Germans fault that this happend, they started the war, I just thought that maybe some people might see this as feeling sorry for the Germans which is not what you intended I guess (or hope).
I don't mind instrumentals, but if you're going to release a music video. You should probably use a song with actual vocals, or an instrumental that has some melody. Like Surroundings did with Dreamscape.
I disagree. I think the instrumentals and video create a fantastic atmosphere. It's still interesting enough without vocals. The video takes old footage and edits it in a thoroughly modern way.
You are clearly not familiar with the amazing genre that is Post-Rock/Ambient. Music left to interpretation I've found, is some of the most meaningful of all. This song/video is beautiful.
Hey, this is only one song. I don't hate you guys. I just wasn't a big fan of this one song. I'll be more than happy to check out anything else you release.
THIS GIVES ME THE SHIVERS!!! i dont have words for this
