Yes, I realize that now. It just seems like a Christmas parade to me because of Santa in the parade and all the ambient Christmas decorations in the city. I don’t know if I can edit the actual title. I’ll see when I get a chance.
I love the Rockettes, but this sucked all the way around. Bad song, wrong outfit, and them freakin boxes needed to go. Thank God they've recovered from this disaster, but I loved it anyway!
The boxes have existed in every single performance of the Christmas Spectacular at the Music Hall as part of the Ragdoll number since it reopened in 1979. You will remember they spell out Merry Christmas Happy New Year. They are not going anywhere. The music is from the then new film Polar Express which obviously had a tie in with the parade and the Music Hall. The costumes smartly reflect that. The number is filled with new, creative choreography and over the head Busby Berkeley crane shots. It may not be to your taste it but it is hardly a "disaster".
@@stevepotfora7461 I would still watch them if they came out there wearing a football uniform, but thanks for the info, and I will plea my comment was a sin of ignorance.
This four-minute dance is Citizen Kane compared to the film it was made to promote. But I do think they should've been dressed as every role Tom Hanks plays.
Just watching them makes my feet feel sore
I get that😊
This was at the 2020 Dallas Thanksgiving Day Parade..
That's interesting! The dance number, of course, is enjoyable enough to be repeated many times.
This is actually from the Thanksgiving Parade

Can you upload the full 2004 Macy's Christmas Parade please?
I am so sorry, but I don't have footage of the full parade.
Google is your friend. There are three different versions of the full parade on UA-cam.

We all love the red outfits. I guess the company was trying some variety!
