Excellence Playa Mujeres | Food and Drinks Review| Was it Worth the Cost?

- We stayed at The Excellence Playa Mujeres for 3 nights in November 2022. We were excited to try an Excellence Resort Property since we had heard so many great things about Excellence Resorts!
This is a review of the food and the drinks at The Excellence Playa Mujeres. Definitely check out all of the videos that we did on Excellence Playa Mujeres before booking this resort!
Excellence Playa Mujeres is located about 40-50 minutes North of the Cancun Airport. It is in a very private part of the Cancun area. So if you are looking for a resort that is safe but also has all of the amenities you could want, Excellence Playa Mujeres is a great choice! It is definitely not considered a budget friendly resort but it is well worth the cost of what you pay to stay here!

The Kitchen Table offers a full lunch buffet. Steak, sushi, pizza , soups, desserts. Great for breakfast and lunch now.

FYI - non-Excellence Club rooms also get 4 full size bottles of liquor. Non-EC rooms have Smirnoff vodka, Cuervo Gold, Bacardi or Captain's white rum, and a bottle of wine or whiskey. EC will have Johnny Walker Black, Absolut, Jimador, and Bacardi or other rum.

They come in the club level rooms without additional charge
ive been watching alot of your videos! they are super helpful. could you give your opinion on a couple resorts with the best rated food ? were foodies :) and want to make sure the price is worth it. we were looking at excellence but would like to know if u have a couple resorts for really good food.
Le Blanc did have amazing food! Live Aqua is also supposed to although I’ve never been. Unico 2087 too. Going to Atelier in a few days! That’s winning a ton of awards. If you need help booking 3days3noches@gmail.com
What was the beer selection? Did they offer cans of beer outside the room?
I don’t drink beer so I’m not exactly sure. But they have a great Facebook group called We Love Excellence Playa Mujeres and they will def know!!
I’m going to my third Excellence Resort for my birthday next week El Carmen…been to Oyster Bay last month and Riviera Cancun last year….they have bars in all rooms and you’re correct….the food isn’t the best but isn’t bad either.
Happy Birthday!! Sounds so fun!! I think in general, All Inclusive resort food is average but Excellence was at least better than most other resorts! Have a great time!
Do they have a little taco truck for lunch? Or anywhere else for quick eats?
Las Olas and the pizza oven at the bar are considered their quick bites!
Is the food actually better in Cancun than Punta Cana?
I’m torn between locations but it’s really the food that’s pushing me back to Mexico..
In general I have to say yes but it really depends on the resort.
Loving your content, was Excellence more expense then Le Blanc, you said EPM was the most expensive.

Thanks for watching!!! We hadn’t been to Le Blanc as of the EpM video so it was the most expensive at that time!! Even though Le Blanc had better food if I had to pick between the two I’d pick EPM because it was less snobby lol
Awe I hate you didn’t have a good food experience, we love the food here, we like to restaurant hop and get different courses at different places, we have our favorites, we aren’t buffet fans so it’s not a issue for us, and there’s nothing better than breakfast at Lobster house but we do also like to order breakfast the night before for a certain time and eat on the terrace.
Well I heard they brought the buffet back. Also I think bc we live in Nj NY which is the food capital of the world lol
Magna is a little nicer you say and you wear a hat?
Trust me, You didn’t want to see what was under the hat 😂😅
