Your interpretation of the predalien honestly has to be my #1 favorite for a few reasons. First, this predalien instead of cutting and stabbing, instead uses, brute force to crush its prey. Secondly, its size, this predalien is absolutely massive in comparison to a yautja, and I love that. Lastly, we don't see it use an inner jaw at all, I'm assuming it doesn't have one, although, it doesn't utilize its tail for cutting, instead uses it as a lasso/grapple(we do see it slice the predator once, however, I believe it was accidental, since the predalien was about to throw a punch while it had the predator pinned up against a wall when the predator kicked at it), but I think I'd prefer it without the inner jaw, since yautja seem to lack tongues 😅

Apparently, Predaliens can either be more alien-like by being subordinate to a queen and work for the hive or be more Predator-like and be a lone wolf and go on a hunt. Obviously, I chose the latter. As for the tongue, it does have one, it's just not its go-to fighting option.

ooh, sorry. didn't see the reply. Yes, I do indeed get burnout, I think everyone does. One of the ways I solve it is to cut off my work properly. By that I mean set a realistic goal to reach for that day and stop there, even if I feel like I want to keep going as it prevents me from doing it too much to the point of burnout. As for character design, I have been getting better with it myself so I can offer some pointers. Mainly, focus on balance of the design; detailed enough to be unique, but not so much as for it to be difficult to draw for a new artist, for example. I have found that, at least with my OCs, the best thing to do for design specifics is to identify the personality you wish to portray, then focus the appearance to reflect it. this can even be used to intentionally subvert the audience's expectations if the appearance juxtaposes the personality.

Just a detail I noticed when I re-watched the animation in twice the normal speed.

Unfortunately, there will only be one more episode, and because of other matters to attend to, the animation is getting delayed much more than I'd wish. I don't know when it will be released, but I will say that the quality is improved dramatically. If I can, I will get these models uploaded somewhere for you all to use.

Awesome animation. Part 1 was awesome. Poor predator tho. The elite red one maybe wolf kicked those xeno asses but had a hard time dealibg with predalieb.
I used free frame by frame animation software known as Pivot Animator. All the models were created by me within the software. The Sound Effects are from the 2010 Aliens vs Predator game.
Thank you. I understand what your saying and I do somewhat agree. The predators in this series are supposed to be a clan of like, ultimate elite predators. Very smart and able to take out aliens quickly. The next part will defiantly make the aliens tougher to kill and will also have greatly improved animation.
No it's not Stick Nodes, it is called "Pivot Animator" which is quite similar but it is only for pc (pivotanimator.net/index.html). To create the effect of the tail wrapping around objects, I simply used another object in front of the tail with the same colour as the subject of the wrap to create a sort of "Mask". In other words, there is just something else in the layer in front that creates the illusion of the tail passing behind.
I am still making these animations, yes. If you have ideas I'd love to hear them. The next part is storyboarded and under production so any suggestions now will be implemented in part 4 onwards.
Okay, well, in the case, at the end of the AVP - 2 appears an egg opening, of that egg could come out a red Face hugger, in the case a face hugger that carries the embryo of the queen. After the egg is open, the queen face hugger leaps either in green, or orange. Hours later a squadron arrives to rescue these two soldiers, this "rescue" squadron has the objective of capturing and leading as a guinea pig to preserve and use the specimen as weapons of war. After the rescue has taken place, the squadron and the parasites go to the ship, in which they are climbing the ramp of the ship the Predator sees something strange, and wrong, he uses his "X-ray" device .. I do not know haha ... and discovers that the orange carries the embryo of the queen, and this is of paramount importance, for if it escapes the planet can be all destroyed. Then when the ship raises Flight, it fires its plasma weapon at one of the ship's engines, and from there on it crashed. When the predator arrives at the site, it is too late, the queen's chestbuster was already peranbulando by the place, it was a matter of time of her to grow and to begin to lay eggs by the region. From then on the hunt begins. There you can by fights as the ship survivors vs the predator, some xeno, and even some face huggers. It's going to be cool. In this story you can even change things that you did not like and etc ... ... That was my idea for part 3. If you see something strange you can change it, and mod him.
This is defiantly an interesting plot point! Like I said, the third part's story is already done so I can't implement it now, although, I have thought of a way I could adapt this idea for part 4 and 5. I was actually struggling to find a way one particular idea of mine would play out in the story, but with a little modification this could work quite nicely! Obviously though, I'm not going to divulge that idea until I make it. So, Thanks for the suggestion!
I plan to, the problem is that I have become quite busy recently which is making it hard to complete any more animations. Fear not, part 3 is currently being created but a release date can't be confirmed.
can you put a praetorian in part 3 it would be cool seeing a smaller version of the queen fight a predator plus it would be another challenge like said by people very few predators have killed praetorians

I have a question. The model of xenomorphs and predators is an assembled model or it is one model drawn with all parts at once.
The Xenomorphs are one model ( until the next part ) but the predators do have alternative arms that are interchangeable.
