- Coracias garrulus, , Rollier d'Europe, European Roler, Carraca Europea. Ave de aspecto inconfundible, la carraca luce un espectacular colorido, en el que predominan diferentes gamas de azul, desde el azul-verdoso de la cabeza hasta el añil de las plumas centrales de la cola o el obispillo.
El nombre de esta ave hace referencia al característico sonido de su reclamo, un rak-cra-cra-cra grave, parecido al de una carraca de madera.

"Singing and nesting" (Coracias garrulus).
Bird of unmistakable appearance, the carraca looks spectacularly colorful, in which different ranges of blue predominate, from the blue-green of the head to the indigo of the central feathers of the tail or the rump.
The name of this bird refers to the characteristic sound of its claim, a grave rak-cra-cra-cra, similar to that of a wooden ratchet.

La carraca es una de las aves más bonitas que podemos ver por estas tierras.
