@@nothisispatrick1753 Piers Morgan doesn't work for Arsenal, nobody refused Ozil of anything. In fact, I'm actually surprised Zinchenko sat down with Piers. If we are to follow the same “logic” then Piers Morgan shouldn’t even have a show and Arsenal should be banned for Iraq (among other illegal imperialist wars), where hundreds of thousands more civilians were murdered by the American and British governments/militaries. I don’t *want* to go here, because I very much do think the war in Ukraine is wrong…with that said, Ukrainians themselves would have to be banned as their country’s military in its time was the 3rd largest occupying force in Iraq.
Russians are being exceptionally cherry-picked to justify xenophobia for geopolitical reasons. And no, I’m no fan of Putin. Curious how even amongst those who say the war in Iraq was wrong….they always blame “Bush” and “Blair” but not Americans even though people in the UK/USA vote for their politicians. But when it comes to the war in Ukraine, it’s non stop “pro Russia” “pro russians” (demonizing millions of people & putting them all in a tiny monolith of a box”) & all russians should be collectively blamed for a dictatorship
