Imagine this song plays while Luffy disbands the StrawHat Crew like Gol D. Roger did...

We might get to see that, what a wonderful ending that would be and well if you remove the mustache Gol D Roger pretty much is Luffy atleast when he was younger but as he was youger he did not have hist moustache so is he Prototype Luffy or a glimpse of what Luffy will become? I agree on the similarities on these two Pirates 100% Lady Maki Otsuki sings so beautifully i would love to see that!

One Piece has something in common with Dragon Ball, as Mr. Eichiro Oda creator of One Piece was a trainee under Mr. Akira Toriyama creator of Dragonball and both of the series (One Piece even more so) are known for their over the top emotional responses that the characters have. I have cried when Merry burned, goosepumps are nurmerous while watching One Piece but i cna say the same about DBZ and overall it's hard to stay neutral when you're watching anime chars laughing, cring getting angry and shouting + joking to the max. You can't just sit still you will feel something, be drawn to the series. That is why Dragonball was the best, the mantle has been taken off an put on the shoulders of One Piece with all the respects to Mr. Akira Toriyama and DB but i have been pirate fan since childhood @@dennisgonzales1046

Yes, Kuma has the one true bible in his hands in One Piece as the bible these days has been modified 100 times over. On One Piece day 1 the commentators said that the japanese treat One Piece Manga almost like a bible, i am a christian and i still treat One Piece as a work inspired by Christian God since Kuma has a bible & when the Devil Fruits are presented first time they are forming a a cross. The story, the music and the characters have touched my heart

I felt the audience was a little stiff, if it were here in Brazil people would be jumping and singing even though they didn't know how to speak Japanese🤣🤣🤣

I went to Helsinki to watch show wrestling as young adult with my younger brother, my 2 classmates and my father drove. If you are familiar how the crowd acts on WWE events in America you would be shocked to see one in Finland, there was absolute silence and you could hear the footsteps of the wrestlers echoing on the arena as they walked & runned & jumped so i actually can relate pretty much to the japanese even if i myself am pretty loud person myself. I made noice for sure, on christian events i make noice and try to sing the loudest. So i can relate what you are saying too, i actually am little bit on the same boat here with you and i think the japanese are too concerned of appearing honorable that they actually do not dare to show how much of a good time they have. After they go home they love One Piece to bits, it really falls to us foreigners to actually start to make noice on how great One Piece is and even if the japanese do 10x outside statues more of One Piece characters we still need what you describe: Showing our passion for One Piece, so i 100% agree with you and i would say that the finnish people still would lose this competition of passion to the Brazilian like the japanese did even if Finland was for One Piece Live "on a official mody watching chart contries list" that was on was on One Piece Tube Christmas Episode still i know that finnish would be silent people too, i'm afraid and i do admire the Brazilian rowdiness. Maybe Mr. Eichiro Oda had a point to make when he was asked about the nationalities of the Straw Hats, as much as i love Luffy he would be Brazilian and closest to FInland would be Nami as she would be from Sweden. Here is the full nationalities list:
      Luffy (Brazil)
      Zoro (Japan)
      Nami (Sweden)
      Usopp (Africa)
      Sanji (France)
      Chopper (Canada)
      Robin (Russia)
      Franky (America)
      Brook (Austria)

Luffy is very similar to a Brazilian, and the dubbing helps him seem even more so.

    • @ShadesApeDJansu
      @ShadesApeDJansu  6 місяців тому +1

Dunno about the dubbed version, i've watched the subbed one twice and now starting to watch for the third time :P I believe your word still, also Mr. Eichiro Oda did not pick Luffy to be a Brazilian on a whim and he most likely wanted that lively brazilian life attitude to be attached to Luffy and i am half-swedish from my mother side so Nami has this more cold & calculating personality with same kind of warmth that Luffy possesses & love for the crew but much more in reserved fashion than the All-Out Luffy :P@@Freddyynho

If I didn't know how japanese audience were in a kpop concert, i would totally got disappointed hahaha but since it's in their culture I wouldn't mind now. Just a little bit sad since I just wished they'd sang along but really didn't.

    • @ShadesApeDJansu

True, the singer is doing her best to pumpt he audience up and well she is a professional even hyping up. Still i can imagine finnish crowd in the place of the japanese, well we finnish have most North-Asian DNA of the european people and that might be one reason for our similarities that do not end there as japanese pronounce alphabet same finnish people do. I still think Mr. Eichiro Oda as he made One Piece Day wanting to make OP more international was looking for people yell praises to the sky, it's up to us to fullfill that possible wish that Mr. Eichiro Oda has and assure the continuing legacy of One Piece. OP is more than a anime, it is a life style and i love it & i ain't afraid to show it.

He is not trolling. It's Indonesian language. He basically said the Japanese audience are so stiff... (audience in Indonesia will dance like crazy if they have Maki Otsuki on stage singing their favorite songs) 😂

You are wrong, if this was filmed in Finland the reception would be the same and that's just part of the racial identity. I have been in WWE World Wide Wrestling show in Helsinki Finland, contrast to American shows the hall was completely silent and there was some attempts to sing along like Kurt Angle's mockery entrance song. Even if Americans / Western english speaking peoples identities are raised from the child to be the loudest, most flashy and to stand out as much as you can that way to raise up a person does not apply to the rest of the world automatically. You might see more joy than you realize in this video, it's just your perspective that makes it hurt for you and deep inside you know it.
