Now that I think about it, even with the Rocket setup, in the test server, Ao Ming's still stays on the further side. I guess Ao Ming's job is crowd control whereas Arthur is a tank, which allows it fulfill the weakness of a Hangar if it is tankless
My Ao has hit Arthur's from behind. It depends on the Map. If your players can make it turn Arthur's back, and side is open. That is it's weakness.
@@skywave12 umm nope..cuz at max lvl,with modules, the arthur has 1.3 millin bare hp(170 defence points give it 64.5%dmg resistace tht makes 3.4 million hp pool)and ive tested the arthur vs aoming with my clan mate,and won all 6 matches
we both used skill to,like he tried to fly atop me and bypass the sheild but even the sheilds are designed ina heart shaped way so almost 50% dmg gets blocked and u can use cover insanely well
also,u can use blastwaveon aoming while its flying
@@skywave12 and btw aoming with max both hp modules have 860k hp,with 230 defenc points,it gets 73.6% dmg resistance which giivesit 1.7millionhp pool plus 8 healing every 19 sec(15 sec cooldown and 4 sec duration} so u can make it as far as 2 mill hp ...and it only implies when u land and have2 alphas only...much less than arthur..yes withmax dmg modules it is of course really damagy but keep in mind the arthur also has 27%dmg module compulsary,and tht fart waves bypasses 100% dmg resistance and hittingbots tht have a smaller hit box is really difficultfor both,but fartwave can easily help u there
It comes down this question: Do you want to pilot a giant flying gunship or a front lines tank? They both serve different purposes, and they work great together.

and you forget to mention that Ao Ming is an easy target to shoot at, especially when it's flying. While everyone avoids battling Arthur unless they have to.
and its called "Death Fart", no one knows what the blast wave is :D

6:27 You mention the... Death Fart advantage in regard to a loki on your beacon and pushing him off... The other advantages in regard to the Fart on carrier and castle is if timed right you can push people off the board. I tried to jump over the upper ravine on castle in my Invader to get the Art hiding around the pillar... Well, as I was starting to jump he came around that corner and farted me out of mid air to a long decent death. It was funny after the fact, but pissed me off at the time as I just spawned in with that 500K HP Invader.

@@fixionfx7425 Both are good. I think players seem to be confused when I say "value". When I look at value, I look at things like how much it costs, how much upgrading is needed and how effective it is overall on the battlefield. For Ao Ming to be strong, it requires a lot of upgrading and new weapons - extra cost.
@@adrianchong Exactly. I use 2 Gendarme's, and 2 Curiassier's at lvl 25 1 plate armor kit and 3 antimatter reactors. Engine 47/50, Core 37/50 and Hull 27/50 as upgraded so far. The engine is important to move fast and heal. I try to stay 500 km to 600 on most. Maps make this vary. It is fun. What I try to do first is down as many Au Juns as possible before using using it later in a game.

@@anthonyarias4830 nah arthu is more fun...specially with the fart (once a cossak flew 800 meters away in yamantau with one fart}plus its really hANDY not only u can defend a beacon,push phantoms and lokis away and their hitbox is soo small,its impossibleto hit it in flight also the tareting on ming sux and u can dodge mercury helldives and inavader,hellburnere explosions,also it dmgs a flying aoming and jun\quin\guang too
I'm also buying Ao Ming cause it's also fun for me. If the game won't be fun for me anymore I won't play that much of it.
For Ao Ming to be more effective, you have to stay behind your teammates for them to tank damage for you. So you're able to do more damage to the enemy team.

But the other day I was playing on carrier map,
And I deployed the Ao Ming that match (I had for weeks now),
And I noticed something a little peculiar,
The invisible wall that was by the little ship very far from the distance,
*Has been moved to about 440m from the carrier,*
*Which means to me that all flying robots are vulnerable to firepower capable of 500m+,*
*To prevent players from bailing out from the match (I assume).*
I don’t know if this is my phone,
but I want everyone to check.
I still watched the video, and you have proved to me to use an Arthur for my Beacon Rush Hangar instead of the original Ao Ming titan. Thanks for the feedback Adrian!
The Ao Ming is very tall. Both in the air and on the ground it is very vulnerable to the enemy team. But, Ao Ming can get around the map much more effectively and is more fun. Arthur’s shield grants an advantage that will turn most fights in its favor. But, the Arthur is very slow. It also has blast wave that can damage multiple enemies. But it is very vulnerable from on top and the back, if an Arthur is attacked by multiple enemies it will not survive. The position of the weapons and the Arthur’s height gives it a great advantage. If an Arthur was fighting an enemy on an opposite side of an object, both the blast wave and weapons can damage it. Once the Arthur’s shields are gone you are very vulnerable since it does not have an enhanced defense system. In my opinion, the Arthur is a little bit better. It is much more affordable and is much better for every battle mode(domination, beacon rush, free for all)

Good job Adrian. I bought an Ao Ming with my saved Platinum and tbh I think Ao Ming is not that powerful. I feel like it needs more Damage resistance on the ground because most players stay airborne.

They made a great job at even out all three titans. my favorite is Kid. The speed, hp, stove and the 15 secs damage resistance while ability is on.

Save your full action defense mode when ao jun fly towards u , ao jun won't do much damage

Maxed energy setup for au ming can shred up bots in seconds from a safe distance. But I must agree, you cant effectively push beacons or defend against QR bots. All you can do is sit back and look for a clear shot.
And it will take me forever to save up for it the setup
As much as I like the Ao Ming, it attracts too much attention to itself and it'll just ended up as Ao Jun food.
You're the best! I almost bought the Ao Ming, but for my play-style (aggressive and obsessed with beacons), you've shown me that the Arthur is better.
Nice! I think you would have actually regretted getting the Ao Ming. I know many players who got it at the start regretted it because they said they needed to spend so much Platinum to make it strong.

Ao Ming coz i use it with Currasiar and Gendarme and it's super good with maxed Titan ,weapons and modules
What i love to do with Ao Ming is on yamantao near the center beacon i walk a little down and then fly so when i go flying into center the walls protect me and only my weapons are exposed

Maxed Ao Ming was calculated to cost a minimum of over $2000 usd. That's quite an expendable amount of money you have for a virtual item.

For a dream hanger you should revisit your last years top 5 robot and see how they do now a days.
-Mender with corona halo

And arthur's shield is just unpenetratable srsly a maxed level arthur has 2m+ hp!! [On its both shield meaning its 4m+ hp]

He said the the machine guns were the best setup for the Arthur but I've found that my biggest opponent is another Arthur. With the rockets I can do damage to both an Arthur's shield and actual health at the same time and you can do splash damage to people around corners, so the rights are probably still a really good setup for the Arthur.
I got both Ao Ming and Arthur. I find AM more fun. I play it agressively, get more kills, and due to its higher "speed", reaches critical areas that need support much quicker. It does die quicker though, but how often do you mech out anyway? But each to their own ofcourse.
The Arthur better in dealing damage and capturing becon,it also can stop the loki if in 100m.
Arther is good but do not forget the nodes or the kid but the ao ming is still good.
Been enjoying the Arthur, so joyed that It had been upgraded more than my Kid.
I even watched the one Arthur video and the top ten bots for 2019-2020, it claimed to be “Machine Gun”/“Swiss Cheese” Arthur being the bomb build.
Remember,” Swiss Cheese” is the reference in the past where machine gun weapons (Punisher, Molot, etc.) was so fast when firing, you say that your target is becoming Swiss cheese.

I purchased an Arthur and I completely agree, shoot on castle i even managed to death fart a Mercury and Invader off of the map in mid jump. That made me fall in love with it!

I have an Arthur, and I love it. I've got it equipped with the Tsar and retaliators, and I do very well with that set up. I play the Arthur very aggressively. Sometimes it doesn't work out so well, many times it does. At this point I have no desire to get an Au Ming since in many cases I'm able to out shoot them when going head to head.
I would pick ao ming but I'm saving for athur so I atleast have like a good titan instead of kid if you know what I mean

Hi Adrian, great video! I bought an Arthur and wondering about upgrade strategy. Follow normal rule of thumb, weapons first, then bot? With so many elements to the bot, Hull, Core, Engine and components its hard to know where to start! Any guidance please? Thanks
*Question for the comments* I play almost exclusively ffa and am a ftp player. The Ao Ming looks good because it's faster and I've seen it steal more kills than Arthur. And people tend to avoid attacking the Arthur in ffa because it takes forever to kill, so it won't be as easy to find targets. But at the same time, the shields are useful and so is the blast wave. As someone who won't be able to upgrade a lot and plays mostly ffa, what would you recommend?

I've consistently found that the Vengeance and Retaliator set up works best on Ao Ming. You just have to be strategic about where and when you deploy. The Dragoon set up Ao Ming has the extra 100m range advantage but if you can get within that range tactically (or sneakily) and it make it a 1v1 then the machine gun Ao Ming wins hands down over the Dragoon set up. If you try to fly directly at a Dragoon Ao Ming odds are you will get destroyed before you get within machine gun range. That's why you have to be cunning. I think the machine gun set up works best on every Titan tbh.
Have an Arthur. Level 21. Each category is up to level 7 with each of the default weapons at level 6. Any recommendations for future upgrading? Titan or weapons first?
My hanger is lvl 10 everything,so i needed more fire power being in champions league,so i saved up and bought the ao ming,to deal with fenrir and T falcon and leech too.
And if you get close enough to a Arthur while flying,you bypass it's shield.
Hey Adrian....I definitely prefer author over AU Ming but I more of a brawler player AU Ming more of a support bot ....
But with ao ming you basically ignore the resistance of bots , leech can't get any close to you , but ao juns can and that's where the cons come to an ao Ming , the cons for Arthur is once sheild is broken , no resistance nor repair , it's vulnerable there and it's very weak against rockets and players can damage it from above despite with the sheilds , but either way , ao Ming is considered as a sniper and Arthur as a brawler

Unfortunately, I already got an Ao Ming, but the 600m weapons are really too expensive. Is it better to just save up 450 Pt for the Arthur and start over? Or stay with the Ao MIng since I already have it?
I agree Arthurs are good at keeping beacons and Ao Ming is more of an Eye of Sauron type where if you're spotted, you're dead. Ironically Lokis and Phantoms beat a huge titan such as the Ao Ming up close
I like the idea of the au ming, but I went with the author. Au ming gets tore up while Arthur laughs anda asks for more

Arthur is hard to kill but it is annoying when our opponent retreats & hide behind an obtsacle/wall it becomes so irritating i have to walk a long way to the other side to kill it, where as Ao ming can instantly fly over the obstacle/wall.

I spent a lots of platinum on my Kid , but I don't regret , I'm killing a lots of Arthurs or Ao Mings (of course , they killing main too, lol) and because of that , I'm getting more platinum , so this video helps a lot for me to decide : which one is next for more fun.

Cool video, nice info. Next time can you try AoMing with vengeance and rupture as secondary wpns? I'm thinking rockets and burst dmg for shielded bots plus sustained fire with vengeance to brawl with.
I think it depends on the game mode, for BR and maybe even domintation machinegun arthur, for free for all and team deathmatch i would go for ao ming rockets or dragoons
I'm really looking forward to getting an Ao Ming, right now I am still using a Kid which I think is really ineffective. Also, that new Nodens titan is really good as well but I think I'd prefer the Ao Ming👍

Although I admit that the kid is pretty good against small groups around 1-3 players or can (Probably) solo a Ao Ming and kid (Arthur is a big no no unless you have a certain advantage)

@Nam Nguyen Nice! Keep leveling up! I think that the Ao Ming has more firepower and with it's flight mode you can easily get around the map as titans are typically quite slow

I got my ao Ming 3 days ago so far I have won against Arthur’s all I do is fly kinda over them and shoot through there shield I also can shoot over buildings which is always funny but annoying to others
Actually, the Arthur blast wave CANNOT hit aerial targets like Ao Jun or Ao Ming during their flight within the blast radius. I learned that today in my Deathwing Ao Jun (an Arthur tried to blast wave me when I was in flight, but it did nothing to me.

I don’t upgrade the retaliators on my ao ming, i don’t really use the 2 beta weapons because i don’t usually fly the ao ming since it’s too squishy and it still have so much firepower without the 2 beta weapons. The resistance of the ao ming needs to be stronger
Molot T Leech with sniper pilot works well to counter titans too ! Out range the range. Cant always go head on with titans.

I really love arthur, well as I came back to the game and flying robots was introduced, I was so hyped, my hangar back in 2016 was almostly griffins, but Ao ming is the only flying robot I would not run, it's ez target unless if you have the 600 ranged weapons, and that is more expensive
Would it be ok to use tsar retaliators? Cus it takes long to kill another arthur, break through our shields first, I wanna deal damage to him as I break his shield so if he breaks my shield, he has less health and now damage him with retaliators, I need to hear some opinions based on my playstyle

I’ve only upgraded free kid weapons and modules, not the kid at all. I’ve spent nothing on new weapons or bots. When I’m ready to get the next gen of Titans I will have highly leveled weapons and modules ready. I’ve done this as cheaply as I can. Meanwhile my high lvl weaps and modules are helping the Kid do a lot of damage.

Sitting on 1200+ platinum and have yet to spend any because I still can’t decide what direction I want to go. I lean your way of thinking toward the Arthur but still can’t bring myself to commit. Guess I’ll just keep saving until I do decide.

I only use this account for videos on newer content or content I can't provide on my own account. My main account on iOS is not all maxed out and my Baby Account on Android has level 6 bots. If you think I only play on this account then unfortunately you'll be disappointed as my main iOS account has close to 30,000 victories now.

No not really. I rather run Arthur over Kid. I will have another video on Titans coming out next week but haven't finished recording all the footage and editing yet.

Should we upgrade a level 3 Arthur or its weapons (vengeance - retaliator) ?
Arthur is the big boy here, an innarestable mountain with the strongest phisical shield of all game. Is heavy but is slow.
Ao ming is a support fire ,deadly but ridicolously easy to counter (if the ao ming have energetic weapon, the arthur can counter it easy, or any stealth or phanteon robor can kill it if well equipped).
For me ,the best(actualy) is the arthur, because is much more resistent ,and can be dangerous at any range.
The ao ming is dangerous at medium range, and can heal, but can be easy cantered, meanwhile, the only way to counter a well-levelled arthus is to be in a group of 2,with weapon with lockdown and good dps.
In my opinion, The rocket and dragoon setup is the best for Aou Ming but the Athur will always be the best with machinegun setup
Do you pay to max all this robots? With the prices Pixonic charges must cost a pretty penny!
Fun fact: Arthurs can cause "natural" disasters. That blast wave is basically a mini earthquake.
