Hi Yetti, the ‘voice’ you were referring to in “Hot Sauce” was Jeno. The boy in the green jacket in the next song is Renjun. The other ‘Dreamies’ are Jisung, Jaemin, and Chenle. You already know Mark (he is the leader) and Haechan. Jisung is the youngest in NCT at 19. The graduation was originally in place from NCT Dream, but SM made them a fixed unit.

@@ineslongeot574 NCT Dream was a graduation unit where the members would go into a different unit once they reach 21 or something, Mark did graduate but he came back after 2 years when they changed NCT Dream into a fixed unit. However NCT Dream will still kind of treat Haechan and Mark the same as they used too, like if NCT 127 and Dream are promoting or touring at the same time they can temporally leave Dream to promote with them.
@@Yetti. he actually auditioned with singing and learned how to rap as a trainee. Same with everyone else in SM. A chunk of SM's artists were scouted due to their visuals. Like Taeyong had no background in music and was scouted because of his visuals yet he can rap, sing, dance, and he produces his own music and participated in many of NCT's productions. the vocalists mostly sang before entering the company.
@@Yetti. Mark's parents are musicians. It's a well known story among nctzens that Mark auditioned as vocalist but trained as rapper in SM. You can hear him singing while playing piano in Super M's "As we wish" series where he's acting to his inspired romantic scene.

They keep snatching the top place interchangeably. So I decided I'm not gonna have a bias. Though they have become adults now and they’re 19-21 years old they’re still young for a 5 year old group. They debuted when they were 14-17 and they were the youngest idol group for a while, like they are probably youngest of 3rd generation. Not to mention the fact that they became trainees when they were actual children; it’s crazy to see them grown up because there’s like pre-debut NCT content from before the dreamies even hit puberty 😭😭
SM encourages their idols to be multi-talented but that is particularly apparent for Shinee and NCT/WayV so they deviate from time to time from their official roles

I still don’t understand why people feel the need to say NCT/WayV. If you are gonna do that, might as well say NCT U/127/Dream/WayV, bc WayV is just as much NCT as the other units. No hate, it just irritates me when ppl act like WayV isn’t NCT, and referring to WayV as if it’s a separate entity feeds into that idea.

It’s good to see all the subunits together so she knows all of them and recognizes them as a whole. I probably sound real nitpicky but it’s because of all of the fan wars that went on with whether or not WayV is a part of nct (obviously they are), and people would say NCT/WayV bc they didn’t accept WayV as an actual subunit. That’s it. Also I’ve never seen anyone say NCT/Dream or NCT/127 just because someone wasn’t introduced to that unit yet. Saying NCT/WayV became a thing for the wrong reasons.

Funfact: Chenle the one who you recognized is in From Home other than Haechan, was a child prodigy and star in China and after sm contacted his parents they were kind of reluctant and said he can “try it out for a little bit” to see if he liked it but SM immediately put him in NCT who were about to have their debuts that year and he literally trained for for 2-3 months before debuting in NCT Dream. Like he was a 14 year old, never danced before, and didn’t even speak korean until after he debuted, and to this day I have no idea how he managed to prepare in less than 3 months because no one really realized he trained that short until it was mentioned way later 😭
I wonder if you see some SHINee in NCT Dream. Their cute little boy image at debut, music trajectory, team dynamic, and stage presence somehow remind me of the younger SHINee. Mark & Haechan are in Dream. They’re not the young group anymore! They were supposed to be a group that had the members age out but they had such chemistry that when Mark graduated, they brought him back and kept Dream together. Baby Jisung (the tall dancer with the deep voice who sings I’m the one) just turned 19. Yes, and you identified Chenle right - Renjun, Chenle, and Haechan were in From Home. I stan all SM groups (My first group was Shinee, EXO is my ult group but still all SM, esp male groups, really cater to my taste, concept and music wise) but I must say that NCT Dream is something very special. For me, they’re like one of the most, if not the most ideal idol groups out there? Like,,, there’s no obvious disparity in skills (prob because they have trained since very young) and this allows them to have more equal line or screen distribution than any SM groups I know. They’re all all-rounders, or on the way to get there. Oh, if you’re interested in their audition process and stuff, there’s a new visible podcast interviewing them for one hour (it’s very fun and interesting) from DIVE Studios Podcast with Eric Nam. NCT Dream to me is this generation SHINee...the maknae was 14 when they started...very much like taemin...Dreams debut when they were all teenagers...just like SHINee did back in 2008...fun fact haechan and mark are shawols...they sing alot of SHINee songs...cos that was wat they grew up listening:)) and yes haechan did ballet when he was younger....another fact...they are all adults now...by international age,,,by korean age...even older.

Hi Yetti. I’m a Shawol and SHINee is my group. And as such my first time seeing NCT members was through a video clip of them uber excited over the fact that Jisung will be joining a show where Taemin was a part of. I know Jisung and Jeno before as Taemin fanboys. Haechan is a certified Shawol and auditioned in SM because his role model is Taemin. Mark loves SHINee songs and was first introduced to Kpop through SHINee’s Juliette. From what I’ve seen and read, half of the whole NCT are SHINee/Taemin fans. That’s how I got to know them. After SHINee, musically I find I like more NCT songs than any other group and NCT Dream is probably my favorite subunit. I don’t really follow their activities but I watched some of their MVs, videos, and performances. They’re talented and funny.
NCT Dream has 3 vocalists and 4 rappers Vocalists- Haechan, Chenle, Renjun All 3 of them are Main Vocalists, If you want to see them flex their vocals i really reccomend you react to Be There for You. It has a live video of them sitting down singing the song. Rappers- Mark, Jeno(Deep voice guy you confused with Jaemin), Jaemin (the dude you kept asking about during Hello Future), and Jisung. Honestly all 4 of them can go very deep with their vocals. And of course since they are SM rappers you bet they be singing too

NCT Dream is indeed the youngest group of NCT, targeted toward the youth. They supposedky had a graduation system once their members turned 20y.o but they canceled that April of last year. Mark actually 'graduated' at the end of 2019 but came back after that announcement last year. Their sound tends to be brighter, more refreshing than the rest of NCT. Hot Sauce was their first comeback as a 7-member group again and the title track of their first full album. It shows a new, unexplored side to them both in concept and in sound. Hello Future is the title track of the album repackage and it brings Dream back to what we're familiar with. They're cute and bright but it's evident that they've grown up as well. Mark is the oldest member and the leader. He is the main rapper but honestly everyone in SM can sing anyway so there's no surprise that he does too. Main vocals: - Renjun (the guy in the green jacket in Hot Sauce, he's also in From Home) - Haechan (you already recognize him) - Chenle (Also in From Home) Rap line (safe to say that SM groups' rap line CAN SING): - Mark - Jeno (is the deep voice you hear in Hot Sauce) - Jaemin Jisung is tricky when it comes to vocals because he's given both vocal and rap lines. Honestly his voice just fits because it's deeper toned than the rest of them. He's the group's (and all of NCT's) maknae and main dancer. All of them are adults with Jisung turning 20 y.o (in Korean age) this year.
Had you started at their debut, your expectations would have been spot on. They've since grown up! In Chewing Gum they practically look like babies, but in reality were teenagers... for instance Mark in The 7th Sense and Mark in Chewing Gum were only a few months apart yet seem vastly different because the right clothes and hair can make them look really REALLY young.
Dream is a bag of talent! Even though they are young they are definitely professionals that have been in the game long enough (5 years now) but sadly some overlook them because of the preconceived notion that they are going to be childish haha As an older Dreamzen I find their music can be varied, anywhere from cheerful youth to coming of age realness. I'm glad you got to see so many of their recent songs! Thanks for such a lovely reaction! For me, NCT Dream is very unique, not only because of their concept and their age, but also because no one in the group outshines other members? Like every single of them comes in to bias-wreck you with their outflowing charisma and vocal or rap, then the next second some other member (whoever is taking the part) catches your attraction instantly. You may be able to pick your favourite member out of 7 of them (when you get to know their off-stage personality etc), but you can't really pick who's your favourite on stage cuz they are equally attractive in different ways while still captivating you in the same way (at least for me personally).
Jaemin is an absolute sweetheart! He doesn’t get the largest parts in songs but always does so well (wait till you see his killing part in boom), you might see him missing from some of dreams earlier stuff because he was recovering from an injury for a while, mark and another member (can’t remember) made a vlive where they ‘spoiled’ when jaemin was coming back from hiatus, you can easily find the clip and it’s funny because their acting is so bad hhhhhh But Yh jaemin is an introvert so you might see him be quieter in some of dreams contents, but he can also be really outgoing when he’s comfortable :)) he gives so much love to czennies and is always doing fan service, we are so lucky to have him! Also the guy in the green is renjun, his vocals are so smooth and comforting! Him and Chenle (the vocalist you recognised from from home) are both from China, and there’s a running joke that Renjun has better Korean than some of the Korean members! For Chenle, I would say check out his ‘Free Love’ cover with Kun (another Chinese member, was also in from home and happens to be the leader of wayV who composes a lot) it’s on UA-cam and it’s so beautiful 🥺 - sorry this went on so long hahaha, if you want to get to know dream’s personalities I recommend watching them play mafia! It was a vlive but is fully subbed on there and on UA-cam (easier to find), you get fo play along with them as you don’t know who is what role! (I also recommend them playing mafia recently as part of their science game, I think it was the final part? It’s so funny!)
I cannot tell you how happy I am that you like Dream and u have the same feelings as u did with Shinee! They are criminally underrated because they get boxed into their too young or too cringe box but they have grown out of that for a while now but unfortunately they always get treated as the side characters because Mark and Haechan promote a lot with 127 so Dream ends up with 1 comeback and year 😭. They just finally got their 1ST full album 5 years in and we got it to triple million sellers with their repackage they are now the youngest and the first in SM or NCT to achieve this. Literally too many ppl were sleeping on them and this comeback has finally got ppl to see they aren't kids anymore. NCT Dream originally had a graduate system once u turn 20 so Mark left but SM finally got rid of the system because of the power they have their goodbye graduation concerts kept getting sold out and then they added dates to other places in Asia and that got sold out too. So they just kept adding and adding dates and then covid hit so they didn't get to finish their Dream show concert. It was really cruel cause the members cried so hard for all the shows because they thought it was their last they didn't know what would happen after cause the rest were not in any other group but Dream. Thank god SM realized how much impact they have and they kept them together and brought Mark back. But now they can come back with 2 members or 5 or 7 depending on who's available so it's a set group now but because Haechan and Mark are usually the busy ones between two groups now the rest of the Dream members don't have to wait around for them they can comeback as 5. So it's still up in the air about what will happen for the next comeback and when would that even happen. But SM would be so foolish to let them do nothing for another year with how much records they broke.

And like you've noticed, NCT members, and actually a lot of SM idols, have been trained for both singing and rapping. So occasionally you can notice members doing something different from their designated roles- i.e rappers singing/ vocalists rapping. And the deep voice guy in the 1st chorus of Hot Sauce was Jeno! However in the 2nd chorus it was Mark with the deep voice. You had pointed out both moments so I thought I'd let you know hahaha. And Yess Chenle was in from home as well! Renjun too! That's probably why you also found their voices familiar along with Haechan

This was such a fun reaction 😊. I love the Dreamies they were my gateway group into NCT. They were charming boys with Jisung being 14 and Mark the oldest being 17 when they debuted, but now they are charming men with Jisung being 19 and Mark being 21 his bday is on August 2nd. I honestly bias most NCT members. They are so likable and talented but the Dream unit contains my most biases. Mark -leader (rapper, singer plays guitar and piano writes -he wrote baby don't like it at like 17 -he's debuted more than any idol I know). Renjun (Lunjean -is how I've been told it's pronounced -he's the one with the soft voice that soars -he is very artistic (draws & paints), very kind but has a fiery temper when pushed, a language genius born in China but fluent in Korean and speaks English really well -he's extremely beloved by his fellow members) Jeno -was a child actor, he's a rapper and visual extremely charming known for his beautiful eye smile, very athletic, super energetic & most consider him a dad like figure in Dream. Haechan -Lee Donghyuck is his birth name. Lee Sooman gave him the stage name Haechan which means full sun because of his lovable, bright personality & unique voice. He has a fun, refreshing personality. He's so funny and charming. He loves attention ofc. He does a lot of the ad libs you loved in these songs. Like Kai from EXO he's classically trained in ballet. Haechan is an ace. Jaemin -is one of the most popular Dream members he was scouted by SM while he was volunteering at an event. He tells everyone the idol life chose him not the other way around -his childhood dream was to be a surgeon. He is quirky and funny. He is very loving towards Nctzens and his brothers in Dream. He's very responsible doing alot of cooking and cleaning for the other members. He's great with people especially younger people including younger Dream bros Chenle and Jisung maybe because his mom is a school teacher 🙂 Chenle -nicknamed The President -was one of your faves with the rainbow hair in Hello Future. He's the second youngest member out of all 23 NCT members (age 20). Chenle (Chinla) was a child star in China SM went to China to convince him to join with them. He's irreverent in the best way. He speaks his mind all the time 😄. He plays piano. Chenle is loud, funny, boisterous always in good spirits. Jisung is the current maknae of all NCT international age 19/Korean age 20. A child dance prodigy he's been training under SM since about age 12 similar to Taemin. He is very introverted but comes alive on stage. He's very kind, caring, and considerate appearing very mature for his age. He's a giant maknae being one of the tallest NCT members and having a very deep voice. Yet he does very cute, quirky things. Since becoming an adult in Korea he's become increasingly flirty 😀 They're fun and lovable. [It was like SHINee releasing Don't Call Me which is a very new sound for the group and then Atlantis which is a very SHINee music and concept]. NCT DREAM is the baby unit of NCT however as of this year (in korean age) they are all adults because the youngest turned 20 (19 internationally but 20 in korean age) so all of them are adults and Mark is the oldest and he is 22 (23 in korean age) soo yea however if you listen to their older songs i think you'll hear kinda like what you were expecting from NCT dream from 2016-2018 so ye their songs started to mature a bit from 2019+ also- in their mini album they put out in 2018 the only song that isn't baby like or very youthful lyric wise is " Drippin' " 😛[Mark wrote Drippin']
Well, I'm not very good at English but I'll try to explain some things to you :) First of all, Renjun, the boy with the green jacket. Renjun is a singer and his main unit is Nct Dream but he also participated in some songs with Nct U like From Home or Faded in my last song. He is one of the main singers of Nct Dream! Then, to Mark, you seem to know him already so you should know he's part of a lot of units (DREAM, 127, U, SuperM). Mark is a rapper but he's actually pretty good at all aha (He composes a lot of songs for the different units) For Chenle, the boy you think you saw in From Home, he's also one of the main singers of Nct Dream. He also participated in several songs of Nct U like From Home or I.O.U. He has been singing since he was very young and he also rapped in some Dream songs. Jeno is the boy who sang with a very deep voice in Hot Sauce. He is the lead rapper of Nct Dream but just like the others, he can sing without too much effort. He also helped write some songs like Dear Dream or 119. He has participated in several Nct U songs like Misfit and 90's love. Jaemin, the boy you asked for Life is still going on, is also one of the main rappers and just like the others he can sing too! He did several songs with Nct U like Make a wish and Work it. He is known in Nct Dream for his somewhat lunatic side aha Haechan is one of the main singers of Nct Dream and Nct 127, he participated in different songs of Nct U like From Home, 90's love or Faded in my last song. He honestly has an amazing voice (like all the other lmaoo) that can go really high! And finally, the maknae, Jisung! As I just said, Jisung is the youngest member of NCT and he's pretty much capable ... of anything. He sings, dances and raps! He is the main dancer of Nct Dream and he has also participated in Nct U songs like Work it or I.O.U! NCT Dream are not exactly typical flower boys group anymore I must say, they have been involved in this industry for almost 10 years already made them so matured even though they're still so young.
The boy in green jacket is Huang Renjun. one of the main vocalists in Nct Dream. He's also part of FROM HOME together with Haechan and Chenle (Dream members also).
MNEK was part of the writing/production of the song Life Is Still Going On. The Dreamies are now all adults so their concepts are still a bit bright and refreshing but now they can be more mature 😉. Hi Yetti, the ‘voice’ you were referring to in “Hot Sauce” was Jeno. The boy in the green jacket in the next song is Renjun. The other ‘Dreamies’ are Jisung, Jaemin, and Chenle. You already know Mark (he is the leader) and Haechan. Jisung is the youngest in NCT at 19. The graduation was originally in place from NCT Dream, but SM made them a fixed unit.

@@ineslongeot574 NCT Dream was a graduation unit where the members would go into a different unit once they reach 21 or something, Mark did graduate but he came back after 2 years when they changed NCT Dream into a fixed unit. However NCT Dream will still kind of treat Haechan and Mark the same as they used too, like if NCT 127 and Dream are promoting or touring at the same time they can temporally leave Dream to promote with them.

@@Yetti. he actually auditioned with singing and learned how to rap as a trainee. Same with everyone else in SM. A chunk of SM's artists were scouted due to their visuals. Like Taeyong had no background in music and was scouted because of his visuals yet he can rap, sing, dance, and he produces his own music and participated in many of NCT's productions. the vocalists mostly sang before entering the company.
@@Yetti. Mark's parents are musicians. It's a well known story among nctzens that Mark auditioned as vocalist but trained as rapper in SM. You can hear him singing while playing piano in Super M's "As we wish" series where he's acting to his inspired romantic scene.

Though they have become adults now and they’re 19-21 years old they’re still young for a 5 year old group. They debuted when they were 14-17 and they were the youngest idol group for a while, like they are probably youngest of 3rd generation. Not to mention the fact that they became trainees when they were actual children; it’s crazy to see them grown up because there’s like pre-debut NCT content from before the dreamies even hit puberty 😭😭
SM encourages their idols to be multi-talented but that is particularly apparent for Shinee and NCT/WayV so they deviate from time to time from their official roles
EXO too. Their main rapper was even a lead role to a movie about a vocalist with anxiety. Also, if someone is wondering if this is me, promoting Chanyeol’s the box movie, then yes. Indeed.
I still don’t understand why people feel the need to say NCT/WayV. If you are gonna do that, might as well say NCT U/127/Dream/WayV, bc WayV is just as much NCT as the other units. No hate, it just irritates me when ppl act like WayV isn’t NCT, and referring to WayV as if it’s a separate entity feeds into that idea.

It’s good to see all the subunits together so she knows all of them and recognizes them as a whole. I probably sound real nitpicky but it’s because of all of the fan wars that went on with whether or not WayV is a part of nct (obviously they are), and people would say NCT/WayV bc they didn’t accept WayV as an actual subunit. That’s it.
Also I’ve never seen anyone say NCT/Dream or NCT/127 just because someone wasn’t introduced to that unit yet. Saying NCT/WayV became a thing for the wrong reasons.

Funfact: Chenle the one who you recognized is in From Home other than Haechan, was a child prodigy and star in China and after sm contacted his parents they were kind of reluctant and said he can “try it out for a little bit” to see if he liked it but SM immediately put him in NCT who were about to have their debuts that year and he literally trained for for 2-3 months before debuting in NCT Dream. Like he was a 14 year old, never danced before, and didn’t even speak korean until after he debuted, and to this day I have no idea how he managed to prepare in less than 3 months because no one really realized he trained that short until it was mentioned way later 😭

They were supposed to be a group that had the members age out but they had such chemistry that when Mark graduated, they brought him back and kept Dream together. Now they have sold a total 4.8 mio albums in Gaon woth a very strange discography since hot souce is their first full album. SM treated as if this is a group project before they finally graduated to mature group but unfortunately (or fortunately for SM) NCT Dreams has a very strong fans so although they never debut anywhere but Korea, they loved by many especially in Asia. Dreamzen are the most loyal and over protective fandom.
I stan all SM groups (My first group was Shinee, EXO is my ult group but still all SM, esp male groups, really cater to my taste, concept and music wise) but I must say that NCT Dream is something very special. For me, they’re like one of the most, if not the most ideal idol groups out there? Like,,, there’s no obvious disparity in skills (prob because they have trained since very young) and this allows them to have more equal line or screen distribution than any SM groups I know. They’re all all-rounders, or on the way to get there.
Oh, if you’re interested in their audition process and stuff, there’s a new visible podcast interviewing them for one hour (it’s very fun and interesting) from DIVE Studios Podcast with Eric Nam. Jisung is the maknae of NCT as a whole, he’s 19. But he got really deep voice, and he’s the tallest among the 7dreamies. He’s the main dancer along with Mark.
Both Jaemin & Jeno have deeper voice. But the first one in Hot Sauce chorus was Jeno. People tend to mixed up their names tho, they’re bff since day 1, both are so handsome, and both are rapper. You can really see the difference from their smile tho, Jeno is the one with eyes smile and Jaemin is the one with brigthest widest smile of them all, usually he’s the center cuz he’s the main visual.

Btw Mark once graduated from NCT Dream but in 2020 he rejoined the group cuz SM decided to stop the graduation system. That wasn’t the initial plan, but these boys grew super close to each other cuz they literally debuted at 14-17 and being trainee together since like 11. Fans got so attached with the lineup and did protest like almost every single day lol. We made it tho.
That’s why 7Dream IS SUPER PRECIOUS. Their friendship is another story. And all of them talented and good looking af.

Hi Yetti. I’m a Shawol and SHINee is my group. And as such my first time seeing NCT members was through a video clip of them uber excited over the fact that Jisung will be joining a show where Taemin was a part of. I know Jisung and Jeno before as Taemin fanboys. Haechan is a certified Shawol and auditioned in SM because his role model is Taemin. Mark loves SHINee songs and was first introduced to Kpop through SHINee’s Juliette. From what I’ve seen and read, half of the whole NCT are SHINee/Taemin fans. That’s how I got to know them. After SHINee, musically I find I like more NCT songs than any other group and NCT Dream is probably my favorite subunit. I don’t really follow their activities but I watched some of their MVs, videos, and performances. They’re talented and funny.

NCT Dream is indeed the youngest group of NCT, targeted toward the youth. They supposedky had a graduation system once their members turned 20y.o but they canceled that April of last year. Mark actually 'graduated' at the end of 2019 but came back after that announcement last year.
Their sound tends to be brighter, more refreshing than the rest of NCT. Hot Sauce was their first comeback as a 7-member group again and the title track of their first full album. It shows a new, unexplored side to them both in concept and in sound. Hello Future is the title track of the album repackage and it brings Dream back to what we're familiar with. They're cute and bright but it's evident that they've grown up as well.
Mark is the oldest member and the leader. He is the main rapper but honestly everyone in SM can sing anyway so there's no surprise that he does too.

Jisung is tricky when it comes to vocals because he's given both vocal and rap lines. Honestly his voice just fits because it's deeper toned than the rest of them. He's the group's (and all of NCT's) maknae and main dancer.
All of them are adults with Jisung turning 20 y.o (in Korean age) this year.
Had you started at their debut, your expectations would have been spot on. They've since grown up! In Chewing Gum they practically look like babies, but in reality were teenagers... for instance Mark in The 7th Sense and Mark in Chewing Gum were only a few months apart yet seem vastly different because the right clothes and hair can make them look really REALLY young.
Dream is a bag of talent! Even though they are young they are definitely professionals that have been in the game long enough (5 years now) but sadly some overlook them because of the preconceived notion that they are going to be childish haha
As an older Dreamzen I find their music can be varied, anywhere from cheerful youth to coming of age realness. I'm glad you got to see so many of their recent songs! For me, NCT Dream is very unique, not only because of their concept and their age, but also because no one in the group outshines other members? Like every single of them comes in to bias-wreck you with their outflowing charisma and vocal or rap, then the next second some other member (whoever is taking the part) catches your attraction instantly. You may be able to pick your favourite member out of 7 of them (when you get to know their off-stage personality etc), but you can't really pick who's your favourite on stage cuz they are equally attractive in different ways while still captivating you in the same way (at least for me personally).
Jaemin is an absolute sweetheart! He doesn’t get the largest parts in songs but always does so well (wait till you see his killing part in boom), you might see him missing from some of dreams earlier stuff because he was recovering from an injury for a while, mark and another member (can’t remember) made a vlive where they ‘spoiled’ when jaemin was coming back from hiatus, you can easily find the clip and it’s funny because their acting is so bad hhhhhh
But Yh jaemin is an introvert so you might see him be quieter in some of dreams contents, but he can also be really outgoing when he’s comfortable :)) he gives so much love to czennies and is always doing fan service, we are so lucky to have him!
Also the guy in the green is renjun, his vocals are so smooth and comforting! Him and Chenle (the vocalist you recognised from from home) are both from China, and there’s a running joke that Renjun has better Korean than some of the Korean members! For Chenle, I would say check out his ‘Free Love’ cover with Kun (another Chinese member, was also in from home and happens to be the leader of wayV who composes a lot) it’s on UA-cam and it’s so beautiful 🥺
- sorry this went on so long hahaha, if you want to get to know dream’s personalities I recommend watching them play mafia! It was a vlive but is fully subbed on there and on UA-cam (easier to find), you get fo play along with them as you don’t know who is what role! (I also recommend them playing mafia recently as part of their science game, I think it was the final part? It’s so funny!)

I cannot tell you how happy I am that you like Dream and u have the same feelings as u did with Shinee! They are criminally underrated because they get boxed into their too young or too cringe box but they have grown out of that for a while now but unfortunately they always get treated as the side characters because Mark and Haechan promote a lot with 127 so Dream ends up with 1 comeback and year 😭. They just finally got their 1ST full album 5 years in and we got it to triple million sellers with their repackage they are now the youngest and the first in SM or NCT to achieve this. Literally too many ppl were sleeping on them and this comeback has finally got ppl to see they aren't kids anymore. NCT Dream originally had a graduate system once u turn 20 so Mark left but SM finally got rid of the system because of the power they have their goodbye graduation concerts kept getting sold out and then they added dates to other places in Asia and that got sold out too. So they just kept adding and adding dates and then covid hit so they didn't get to finish their Dream show concert. It was really cruel cause the members cried so hard for all the shows because they thought it was their last they didn't know what would happen after cause the rest were not in any other group but Dream. Thank god SM realized how much impact they have and they kept them together and brought Mark back. But now they can come back with 2 members or 5 or 7 depending on who's available so it's a set group now but because Haechan and Mark are usually the busy ones between two groups now the rest of the Dream members don't have to wait around for them they can comeback as 5. So it's still up in the air about what will happen for the next comeback and when would that even happen. But SM would be so foolish to let them do nothing for another year with how much records they broke.

And like you've noticed, NCT members, and actually a lot of SM idols, have been trained for both singing and rapping. So occasionally you can notice members doing something different from their designated roles- i.e rappers singing/ vocalists rapping.
And the deep voice guy in the 1st chorus of Hot Sauce was Jeno! However in the 2nd chorus it was Mark with the deep voice. You had pointed out both moments so I thought I'd let you know hahaha. And Yess Chenle was in from home as well! Renjun too! That's probably why you also found their voices familiar along with Haechan

This was such a fun reaction 😊. I love the Dreamies they were my gateway group into NCT. They were charming boys with Jisung being 14 and Mark the oldest being 17 when they debuted, but now they are charming men with Jisung being 19 and Mark being 21 his bday is on August 2nd.
I honestly bias most NCT members. They are so likable and talented but the Dream unit contains my most biases.
Mark -leader (rapper, singer plays guitar and piano writes -he wrote baby don't like it at like 17 -he's debuted more than any idol I know).
Renjun (Lunjean -is how I've been told it's pronounced -he's the one with the soft voice that soars -he is very artistic (draws & paints), very kind but has a fiery temper when pushed, a language genius born in China but fluent in Korean and speaks English really well -he's extremely beloved by his fellow members)
Jeno -was a child actor, he's a rapper and visual extremely charming known for his beautiful eye smile, very athletic, super energetic & most consider him a dad like figure in Dream.
Haechan -Lee Donghyuck is his birth name. Lee Sooman gave him the stage name Haechan which means full sun because of his lovable, bright personality & unique voice. He has a fun, refreshing personality. He's so funny and charming. He loves attention ofc. He does a lot of the ad libs you loved in these songs. Like Kai from EXO he's classically trained in ballet. Haechan is an ace.
Jaemin -is one of the most popular Dream members he was scouted by SM while he was volunteering at an event. He tells everyone the idol life chose him not the other way around -his childhood dream was to be a surgeon. He is quirky and funny. He is very loving towards Nctzens and his brothers in Dream. He's very responsible doing alot of cooking and cleaning for the other members. He's great with people especially younger people including younger Dream bros Chenle and Jisung maybe because his mom is a school teacher 🙂
Chenle -nicknamed The President -was one of your faves with the rainbow hair in Hello Future. He's the second youngest member out of all 23 NCT members (age 20). Chenle (Chinla) was a child star in China SM went to China to convince him to join with them. He's irreverent in the best way. He speaks his mind all the time 😄. He plays piano. Chenle is loud, funny, boisterous always in good spirits.
Jisung is the current maknae of all NCT international age 19/Korean age 20. A child dance prodigy he's been training under SM since about age 12 similar to Taemin. He is very introverted but comes alive on stage. He's very kind, caring, and considerate appearing very mature for his age. He's a giant maknae being one of the tallest NCT members and having a very deep voice. Yet he does very cute, quirky things. Since becoming an adult in Korea he's become increasingly flirty 😀

Hello! I enjoyed your video and I'm happy that you're trying NCT DREAM music now. Anyways, idk if someone already explained it to you but since I love them so much, I will try to answer some of your questions in the video. :)
NCT DREAM is the then teen-aged unit of NCT composed of the 7 youngest members back then. They debuted in August 25, 2016 (their average age was 15.6 y/o) thus explains your immense confusion as to why their music isn't cutesy as you imagined. But they do started with "cute" concept so checking their early releases will give you a taste as to what their original music sounds like. Regarding Hot Sauce, it is their very first full-length album and Hello Future is a repackage-- both released this year. Hot Sauce is very different and mature concept that they tried for the comeback and Hello Future is the more NCT DREAM-ish sound and concept. [It was like SHINee releasing Don't Call Me which is a very new sound for the group and then Atlantis which is a very SHINee music and concept]. NCT DREAM is a very versatile group but they are known for their colorful-cute-hopeful music.

Anyways, all of the songs you checked are all released this year. Hot Sauce and Hello Future are both title tracks; Dive Into You, Diggity, and Life Is Still Going On are all B-Side tracks. They've release multiple mini albums and single tracks since their debut so there are a lot of songs to listen to if you want to know them better. Their discography is really really good so if you're still interested in checking them you can start from 2016 with their debut song "Chewing Gum" which is the cutest thing EVER.

however if you listen to their older songs i think you'll hear kinda like what you were expecting from NCT dream from 2016-2018 so ye their songs started to mature a bit from 2019+ also- in their mini album they put out in 2018 the only song that isn't baby like or very youthful lyric wise is " Drippin' " 😛[Mark wrote Drippin']

Well, I'm not very good at English but I'll try to explain some things to you :)
First of all, Renjun, the boy with the green jacket. Renjun is a singer and his main unit is Nct Dream but he also participated in some songs with Nct U like From Home or Faded in my last song. He is one of the main singers of Nct Dream!
Then, to Mark, you seem to know him already so you should know he's part of a lot of units (DREAM, 127, U, SuperM). Mark is a rapper but he's actually pretty good at all aha (He composes a lot of songs for the different units)
For Chenle, the boy you think you saw in From Home, he's also one of the main singers of Nct Dream. He also participated in several songs of Nct U like From Home or I.O.U. He has been singing since he was very young and he also rapped in some Dream songs.
Jeno is the boy who sang with a very deep voice in Hot Sauce. He is the lead rapper of Nct Dream but just like the others, he can sing without too much effort. He also helped write some songs like Dear Dream or 119. He has participated in several Nct U songs like Misfit and 90's love.
Jaemin, the boy you asked for Life is still going on, is also one of the main rappers and just like the others he can sing too! He did several songs with Nct U like Make a wish and Work it. He is known in Nct Dream for his somewhat lunatic side aha
Haechan is one of the main singers of Nct Dream and Nct 127, he participated in different songs of Nct U like From Home, 90's love or Faded in my last song. He honestly has an amazing voice (like all the other lmaoo) that can go really high!
And finally, the maknae, Jisung! As I just said, Jisung is the youngest member of NCT and he's pretty much capable ... of anything. He sings, dances and raps! He is the main dancer of Nct Dream and he has also participated in Nct U songs like Work it or I.O.U!
Ps: There are some foreigners in Nct Dream, Renjun and Chenle are Chinese and Mark is Canadian (always useful to know aha)
