Nearly Wild Camping - the early days

The Nearly Wild Camping Club is a growing network of locations willing to host campers who are looking for a wilder, secluded or quieter camping experience. It brings together ambassadors for the countryside, its rich heritage and wildlife, with those seeking to explore and learn through informal fun.
Members access our online directory which now has 300+ locations (with many more in the pipeline) mostly across the UK - many exclusive to Nearly Wild Camping members. Most offer more than just camping - open fires, local produce, pottery, nature walks, fishing, woodland camping....and more!

I'm a member. Over 3000 members this year. Tidy.
I looked for ages for this kind of camping. Nice to get away from the restrictions of field campsites with families .... kids! :-/
Nearly Wild Camping is ideal for solo campers who have no one to go with like myself. So you don't feel or get treated as an outcast.
Slow camping, beer/spirit, a fire, the sound and feel if nature. Bliss.

Seems like a great idea! do you have to pay for each individual booking? or does the £20 per year cover that?

Hi @tomdavison3240 The membership, now £24 per year, gives you access to our database of locations all over the UK. With just under 300 Stunning Locations you'll be sure to find one near you that meets your camping needs. You will book directly with the location and pay their camp fees. The membership also gives you access to many Events and Experience Camps we run and Zoom talks we hold over the winter months, as well as discounts on products and events through our partnerships.
