Après une crise ou une chirurgie cardiaque, votre corps a besoin de temps pour s’adapter et guérir. Le Centre de réadaptation cardiaque du CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal (CCO-CRC)
est là pour guider votre rétablissement et vous aider à prévenir de nouvelles crises. Il est prouvé que la participation à un programme de réadaptation cardiaque réduit d’au moins 25 % le risque d’un autre événement cardiaque.
Notre équipe multidisciplinaire aide également les participants à intégrer régulièrement des activités physiques à leur mode de vie, à retourner au travail, à adopter de saines habitudes alimentaires avec l’aide d’un(e) diététicien(ne), à cesser de fumer, à gérer le stress et l’anxiété, et à comprendre les médicaments.

After you've had a heart attack or heart surgery, your body needs time to adjust and heal. The CIUSSS Centre Ouest Cardiac Rehabilitation Center (CCO-CRC) is here to help guide you in your recovery and help prevent future attacks. Participating in a cardiac rehabilitation program has shown to reduce the risk of another event by at least 25%.
Our multi-professional team also assists participants with integrating regular physical activity into their lifestyle, returning to work, engaging in healthy eating habits with the help of a dietician, smoking cessation, managing stress and anxiety and understanding medications.
