  • I like rainy days. Water makes all colors more intense, the air is fresh and if you give up the warmth of your home and go outside, you are usually rewarded by some special experience.
Just like I was during mid October when the day was gloomy and cold and I decided it was the best time to leave my cosy holiday cottage in Rye and visit Sissinghurst.
That day; it trully was a personification of poetic refuge dedicated to beauty...
    I recorded that special atmosphere...
... and now, finaly, I created my own visual poem praising the charms of wel-tempered gardens and passion and hard work with which people care for them. It was a charming day and I hope I will be able to shere it´s beauty in my short video. :-)

Thank you for your kind comment. The gardens were beautiful and very special indeed that day and so it took me a while to safe enough time to create my own visual story about this extraordinary autumn day :-)

Love the views of Sissinghurst and the music ! We've dreamed of going there when we visit family in Oxford . It does seem difficult to get to unless you have a car . 💕🇨🇦🍁

Thanks so much for your comment and I am glad if I managed to share the beauty of the place in this way (since you were not able to get there). You are absolutely right, it´s complicated without a car which is why I mostly drive to the UK. But, this June I met in Rye a lady from Canada who came to England only to see these charming gardens and she took a Bolt or Uber taxi from Tunbridge Wells to get to Sissinghurst.
