I only saw the footage recently, and 17 year old Twiggy OWNED that jerk Woody. He was trying to make her look stupid, and he was the one who ended up looking ridiculous. That alone is legendary, but she is, was, and always shall be super cool. ❤
He played along with it. He was a philosophy major in college-- he could have named a bunch of different philosophers if he were truly trying to be mean. He was doing a comedy bit-- obviously, she didn't realize it and she was having a different experience with it; but, instead of trying to soothe his ego by leaning us college experience, he played along for the laugh.
I love how Twiggy has stayed the same person, I think because she's genuinely happy. I agree with the comments Twiggy is very likeable, I think Twiggy would have been great on This Morning sofa, she's much better than the two that are there at the moment.
Twiggy had aged beautifully crazy how when she was younger she had more of a north London amy Winehouse type accent. Where’s now she talks a little more posh. Xx still lovely ❤
She may have been auditioning for a character that had to come across as more intellectual; also some directors, and interviewers, do occasionally ask awkward questions in order to see how the person handles the 'designed awkwardness'. Another factor worth considering is Americans, and certainly New Yorkers, tend to communicate much more in extreme ways and less in grey areas between extremes; we don't; we tend to stay in greys which help soften communications.
She had the most iconic look. Lovely person.

@@crankyoldperson6871 i dont know what that means but no one here has seen the full footage in context. If you did you would share it here
Twiggy has always been easy to like.

Wouldn't worry about Woody Allen. Who cares what he thinks.
Nobody
You both seem to.
@@Omnicient. Different way of caring
Gosh, Woody Allen mistrrating a woman? How odd! (Note: Heavy sarcasm.)
Who doesn't love Twiggy?!
@Deb_BG>>>>> Jalous ones do not LOVE Twiggy !
She got the better of him, and his look at the end reveals he knew it.
A humble, honest, well-spoken and genuinely lovely lady. She's aged beautifully and is still doing alright. Cheers 🥂 Twiggy

That wasn't the case though as per this video
He always talks about philosophy and history. How is it mean?
In thd clip she turns the question around on him and he didn't know any philosophers either
