More like when I saw John Cage around '78, he takes the next stage to applause, and scoots the bench back like we've seen pianists do many times... Then again and again, like he can't get it right, ad infinitum for over 6 min. or so-- then this gawdawful squall starts coming from what sounds for all the world like 2 blown speakers!.. I think this guy is just punking us, and I think John Cage at this stage, at his age (jeez, I can rhyme!) was just having a merry prank at our expense. In fact , he quitly chuckled to himself.. But this is NOT funny!..
Well, I just read the "instructions" for this piece of crap, and apparently, it's lëgit-- though I find it hard to believe that la monte actually wrote it for Terry, unless they were fond of doing silly crap to one another, for shits and giggles!
Well, it would be good for you to read about the Fluxus scene of the 60's in the USA. Then you will probably understand that this 'crap' is a kind of Fluxus prose score. It is better to read more and talk less.
