- An experiment cooking a simple little meal in the tiny portable 12 volt rice cooker powered by the Bluetti EB3A. These cookers are perfect for car camping, van life, tiny house life etc so I need to see how easy it is and how much power it will take to make lunch.

Looks to have done a fine job of cooking. Steamed Fish may be an option, especially with Ramen.
Great video. Personally i would have just thrown it all in the pot
Soaking the rice for 30 mins before cooking makes the rice so much nicer. Also leave the rice on warm mode and don't open the lid for another hour after cooking for perfect rice with no crunchy grains on top 🎉
Mine is always done after about 40 minutes in this cooker. But it takes time to heat up unlike a pot on the stove. No soaking, no waiting. 1 cup rice, 2 cups water, salt.
Awesome 😎 space saving for my mini Campervan 👍 .. thanks for sharing
Wow that is the kind of videos that we need…take the power stations to real life tasks ,not just charging phones ,we have power banks for that .what is the bran of that 12 volt cooker Sir ?🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 to the video
it doesn't have a brand name. I got it from aliexpress - just search for 12 volt rice cooker as they're all the same
Thanks for this :) Did you find any English instructions for this by any chance?....or is it a 'wing-it' thing? 😁
wing it I'm afraid. I had to find a youtube video to learn how to use it :)
Ecoflow river 2 dc 100 w can use this rice cooker thank you 🙏
How is the EB3A holding up? Seems to be the one to buy for truck camping.
It’s brilliant, hasn’t missed a beat so far.
It’s also built like a tank, I fell with it on my one wheel and it’s like nothing happened
Does the plug gets too hot? I see some reviews that it gets too hot.
no hasn't got hot for me
On a 20,000 mAh battery pack how long should this last ? We are not sure. Any info kindly appreciated.
Do you happen to remember what brand the vege sausage was?
vegie delights
@@reviewsandprojects Awesome, thanks! Got one of the cooker units and wanted to try the same type of meal 👍
It would be interesting to see actually how much power it would pull Without solar panels engaged.
About 90 to 95 watts. These can be rigged up directly to a solar panel too.
Hey would you sell me the lautie knight at all?
sorry no - took me ages to find one for sale so it's a keeper
How many watts per hour does this cooker consume?
I looked up this cooker it needs 100 watts to power it. Which is very efficient compared to most other options out there.
Takes about 40 minutes to cook rice and runs at about 95 watts. So under 100 wh.
Is that 12v rice cooker . What happen if you plug in on 24v?
no idea. It might go bang! :)
It`s rated for 12 to 24 volts, 100 watts, and has a fuse inside the plug.
