Oh wow, how lucky are you Nicole to live down that way. I used to holiday every Christmas school holidays with the family at Point Peron, so many great memories of all the fun that was had. Wow there are a few changes around Rockingham..
this is just stunning. Amazing videography and camera work. WA is really really amazing, it's easy to forget how amazing the part of the world we live in is. Loved all the beach shots and the stunning turquoise water.
Thank you for the great feedback. Omg I so agree, it is easy to forget just how amazing our part of the world is. We are lucky to call Perth home. Yes the water is beautiful.
Omg there are so many birds there. I guess because there are not really any predators of the birds the population grows. Omg the boardwalks were absolutely covered in bird poo. 😝
@@GrantMenner to be honest 😅😅😅 they should change the island Name!!!! SeaGull island not “PENGUIN ISLAND” what i remember only 6 penguin i saw 5 years ago.😆😆😅
@@makicarolipio haha, yeah your right. However I think all the penguins are out in the ocean looking for food most of the day.. they return at night when everyone has left the island. Or they hide so much during the day. I think the small island between Penguin Island and Seal Island is called Bird Island..
Another winner! You have a great camera skills, you always get the best shots. Not only have you given me "endless blue sky's" but reminded me of the beautifully clear waters as well. I could just do with dipping my toes in now! Here in UK, we're still in full lockdown. We've had snow this past week and it's been bitterly cold all week. The daytime temperature has struggled to get to 0°. This evening as I'm watching you in the sunshine we have an evening temperature of -2° with a wind chill of -7° it's defiantly been a week to baton down the hatches! I'm of the opinion that the bears have it right, hibernation is the answer if you're not in warmer climbs! It's great to see sunshine! Take care, stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
Omg Rosemary it is so cold over there in the UK.. I was just watching it on your news here in Perth tonight that you guys are having the coldest winter in about 25 years or something like that.. I cant begin to imagine what lockdown is like for you in such cold miserable conditions. Rest assured our water and beaches are beautiful atm.. Sending you some of our sunshine and blue sky’s over tp the UK to warm you up.. It was a shame I didn’t see any of the wild penguins (there are about 1500 who call Penguin Island home) Apparently by day the penguins are mostly out swimming in the ocean looking for food.. and they return to the island at dusk.. when all the people have left the island..
Thank you Shiva. I hadn’t been to Penguin Island since I was a kid. It’s great how they have protected the ecosystem of the island. I didn’t see any of the wild penguins on this visit which was a shame.
Thanks Dex, it was a shame it was so windy the day I went.. water would have normally been a bit calmer.. Thank you for the great comments, so appreciate your feedback. 😃👍
My neighbourhood! Such a stunning part of the world!
