He talked through his faithfulness and walk with his faith while battling his mental health and how God has consistently met him, BUT it's a daily struggle and a daily submission.

ABOUT OVERCOME:
Overcome was launched in January of 2020 by Genesys Nichols. She received a vision from God in January of 2019 through a fast to have a platform where people could be real about their struggles and find refuge through those who God has brought through what they were struggling with. She served as a leader in her church and saw everyone smiling so big on a Sunday, but 1:1 the same people that were smiling were admitting their addictions, depression, suicidal thoughts and tendencies, and struggles. She tabled the thought and then in the summer of 2019 she experienced the hardest thing she had to walk through. She was raped conceiving a little girl. Her world was shattered, and God reminded her of this platform and to be vulnerable about what she was going through. So she took to social media and shared her truth! To her surprise, so many women resonated with what happened to her and from there, Overcome was birthed! Overcome is a platform of unmasked vulnerability for people to resiliently seek freedom through community. We share testimonies each Tuesday on our social media platforms and every other Wednesday we drop a podcast (youtube, Spotify, and Apple podcast) diving deeper into the testimony shared that week.
