This is my third viewing. The flex chin information is amazing. I wish I had learned this years ago. Of course, there was no Horn Hangout years ago either. While it is technical rather than "musical'" I hope you (and your guests) can address this and other embouchure issues. Thank you and thank you Professor Neunecker. Mark. PS: Your Gliere Concerto is the best!
Very good technical „insides“ which are the same for all brass players: holding the chin under tension around the full register, face muscles have to be tensed inward (no smiling), embouchure is just half or less of the game so breathing and abdominal breath support is underrated often.
I wonder what Ms Neunecker thinks how things would have turned out had she stayed with the trumpet? Could she have achieved the same level of ability and success? Why or why not?
These two ladies are legendary, and for good reason.
Clam. And Marie-Luise has the BEST Strauss first I have ever heard. And she has good rapport with the conductor and orchestra. Very heroic.
You lady's did a very informative job. Sarah as always amazing job. Love you both and can't wait to see you again.
This is certainly one of my favourite hangouts! I have learned so much from it! Thank you

Thanks so much for this! my low range went from nonexistent to not so big but present, doing that with your mouth really helps!
Very nice. I did not expect to sit through the whole hour but I just couldn't shut it down.
44:22 wow!
Gail, Marie, and Froydis=the ORIGINAL Sarah Willis's! Written with love and admiration for all of those famous brass women. =)
I don't know if this counts, as I'm a clarinetist, but we call it a "cracked" note or tone. We also have undertones and squeaks.
Kix in Swedish as well
So glad this is mostly in English, maybe I should learn German. Nevertheless it is great!
