It's funny how we desperate times expose what lengths people a willing to go to attain success. I never want to be that friend who knocks down another just to attain success.
Two very close friends who were struggling for a higher career. Who will put the other's interest first? She did! Though they were both desperate, one friend had to step back to let the other get what he truly needed, to have a stable life & not let his wife support him but the other way around if he's elected to get the Professor position. She's a divorcee & he's a married man. Though we'll like to see them get together toward the end, they were not fated. Some Movies don't always have a happy ending.
True but it seems like he sacrificed an opportunity, stepped back and gave her the opportunity to study abroad back in their college days, So guess their even, apart from him using a dirty tactic in the end when his "friend" kept pushing him, guess he has to live with that guilty feeling now and probably won't enjoy his success as much.
A less than mediocre film. The acting was okay but the plot was terrible throughout… and the ending is as depressingly disappointing as they come. 3/10 ranking at best…
