Hi Michelle, belated Happy Birthday! Im a Dec baby ...the 6th and my daughter is the 12th. Ive always waited until after her birthday before i decorated for Christmas, then my tradition is to undecorate my house on New Years day. Decorating takes a few days but the packing everything away is quicker. I start early in the morning and it usually takes me until supper time to get it done. Often i have to finish up a few things the next day.
I always make a New Year's resolution and often I've given up after approximately 3 months. 2023 I kept at it all year long but didn't get the results I wanted so I will continue working towards these goals in 2024.
I love your videos and sure missed them these last couple weeks, so glad you're back. Thanks for your inspiration and positivity, it has made a huge difference in my life. All the Best to you in 2024!
Hey Friend, Happy Saturday. It’s like you read my mind because this year I am striving to make a better version of myself. That includes not letting my past define me as an individual and to looking forward to improving my present and future. ❤ In the end of 2023/beginning of 2024 I had the stomach bug so I felt tired and unmotivated. However now I feel refreshed, energized, and motivated to become a better me. ❤ I have really enjoyed the advice you gave us for how to make a better version of ourselves. We need to let go of our past, set goals, letting go of the fear, and do something new. I’m excited to see how much I will improve throughout this year and see the growth in me and in my life.❤🦋

Hi yes our bread maker wet down so we needed to buy a new one ! then our microwave is hanging on ! our cooker is just about is hanging on ! but we had a fabulous christmas ! beautiful food ! oh out fridge freezer broke down so we needed to buy a new one forgot that one ! i am waiting for surgery so i am poorly ! so hopefully it wont be long. i have a prolapsed kidney . and it hurts !

Great advice at making changes you desire. And if you’re happy with your life and everything in it congratulations keep enjoying it. Where I live we have 6 to 7 months of winter so I’ve gotten into winter decor ❤ I do a lot of Evergreen. Sometimes they’re a little frosted, branches and trees, I leave out my pretty snowflake decor- nothing with red in it that’s my rule. And it brings such a cozy, warm vibe. I don’t take it down until just before Easter and put out Easter and spring things. I’m excited for what’s coming up for you? You deserve it after all the appliance turmoil! Hugs 🤗

Well, my goal for this year is to,open a kids consignment shop. I’ve never ran a business before. But I’m 64 and I’m not getting any younger. So I’ve been wanting to do it for a few years now. And I’m tired of sitting at home with my dogs. And need something to do. So I bought some books to read and I will take out a small business loan. And get busy. Find a place. I’m leaving that up to my husband. And if we agree we will get a place. I’m a warm weather person. I like a nice clean pool. Not really the beach. I like to listen to the ocean. But I don’t really want to swim in it. We moved four years ago from Ohio where it’s cold, to Georgia where it’s much warmer. Most of the time. Not right now.

Hi Michelle and Chris! Happy new year from Michelle and Chris! 😂 I'm such a dork. I'm sorry about all your appliances going out! We have been in our home for almost 15 years and we are luck that only our range microwave went out some years back. We've renovated our kitchen a couple years ago and have replaced it with a range hood fan and put the microwave by the small pantry. We also did replace our fridge for the double door fridge but we still have to old fridge in the basement. Still going lol. I want a new oven but my husband the appliance technician says "not till it dies". 🤷🏾♀️ I loved this video. You and Chris worked so well together getting it all done! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 From my husband Chris, Don't ever get any appliances from Samsung. He gets the most calls for problems for that brand. They are horrible. Awesome video! 🙏🏽❤️

I dread the day when I have to replace my appliances for the new crap that’s out there. My washer and dryer are from 1985 and my refrigerator is from 1992.😵💫😬😔🫤🫢😫😵

My appliances always crap out on or near holidays. My dryer just died while we were battling the plague. We ended up getting a new Speed Queen set that will be here on Thursday. Told my husband that it was an extra Christmas/birthday present.😂
My number one goal this year is to lose weight. I will have to wait a few more days though because I sprang my ankle but I'm going to do it. And I'm absolutely a summer person I love the hot weather!!!

As far as the microwave is concerned, I just wanted to point out for anyone also installing an over-the-range microwave, ITS NOT RECOMMENDED. A gas stove should have a proper Range Hood for correct ventilation since they need about 400 CFM which equals 40, 000 PCU in gas. Most Microwave won't be strong enough to support what emissions a gas stove gives off. Now not saying people can't do what they want or that the microwave won't work for some time, however, it will stop working faster and could be a potential hazard, so just be aware. Happy New Year Y'all.
My bday is 12/27. My oven went out on Thanksgiving day, made for interesting cooking for 20 guests😉 then our washer died and then the fridge! Ours did all last 15+ years, but frustrating when they all die at once.
I have been there. We bought house 7 yrs ago and ir seems like something would break every holiday. Including the weekend we got married (fridge circuit board had to be replaced). And the shower handle so we couldn’t turn the water off. lol. There’s light at the end of the tunnel!!

Happy New Year to you & your family here in our wonderful city of HOUSTON! As the saying goes, "when it rains, it pours", soooo, yes, that is sometimes how it goes when things poop out, LOL! But, happy you got new items! The WORST is the WAIT for the appliances to come in, uhhhh! We had an issue with our oven/microwave wall combo's glass shattering! We have our big family of 8, we always stay here & do our own thing at Christmas. OK, so last year we bought a new washer/dryer, yes, LG from Best Buy also. We got the "small washer pedestal" for under the washer & I really do enjoy it! I actually think we have the same LG ones, same color for sure. Hey Michelle. I used to set goals like you back then. But last year in February we had earthquakes in Turkey and over 50.000 people died in here. We couldnt get in our houses for months. So before setting goals be sure if you have guarantee for the next day. Stay safe in there.
