he does but the two things that's been taken away from his offense is a good running back and the qb running game.

@@tufoinproductions Please explain. I do understand that he has no business running a major program as he clearly does not understand recruiting and development of his players

James Taylor Studios his offense doesn’t technically need a running QB, as referenced by his offenses at Tulsa and his first year at Auburn. But the hurry up is easier to use with the power running game because the majority of the unit is already between the hashes. Unfortunately, without a dual threat QB, teams can sell out on the running game knowing the QB (Stidham particularly) isn’t a threat to keep. With guys like Nick Marshall, the threat to keep opens holes for the running back. That’s why the QB doesn’t have to be a great passer in this system, because the running game can be very dominant if the QB is dual threat.

James Taylor Studios he hasn’t been able to go hurry up since 2014. Not the way he wants. Bo Nix could be the guy that brings it back at full capacity.

Caleb Williams thanks Caleb. I had this discussion over the holiday with my nephew, who is pretty hooked in with the program. The only thing he disagrees with is he doesn’t think Bo is the qb we need nor is he ready. But I hope he is wrong on that. Thanks for the great comment!!

Oh, he’s committed to it alright. Even when every single coach he plays year after year has him figured out. Let’s keep running my dumb offense. Which is why, you’ll never coach at a big time program again. Enjoy one more year at UCF and do every football fan in America a favor and take up tennis.

Auburn has done really well without Gus.2012, worst season in school history. 2022 first losing season in 9 years, 2023, well bad
