I have received purchased 4 Ledux guitars from China. 3 of them are Firebird copies and the 4th one is a Telebird. I'm very impressed with the guitars and they all have quality control stickers on them. They are all made in China but they all are shipped from a Warehouse in California with 30 day return policy. I personally wouldn't trust a guitar shipped directly from China because many problems could possibly arise but when shipped from the USA Warehouse, more than likely the USA Warehouse has inspected the guitar before accepting or rejecting it into it's inventory.
chibsons can really never be good, but they can occasionally be different degrees of bad. Saying it's a "good guitar for the money" is nothing but an excuse to rationalize the cost. Any guitar made with poor alignment for hardware (bridge & tailpiece) results in much less than a "good guitar". Poor bridge positioning will cause intonation issues, saddle buzzing, or both. You can try raising the bridge, but that will just cause uncomfortable string height -- a good guitar for hanging on a wall
I was lucky enough to find one that had the serial number JP2 158 (🤔) at a pawn shop that played really well. After the upgrades it has become my main guitar for certain rock gigs.

I've seen it done before and heard that it flattens out the string angle making less pressure on the strings (fewer broken strings). Not sure if that's true, but that's what I remember.
You can do the wraparound thing on those bridges, but only really should if the angle of strings are hitting the bridge before it lays on the saddles. It does change the feel or slinkiness of how the strings feel.
@@thebrodys It can result in more broken strings as the string will eventually wear - cut a groove in the tailpiece and cut the string when bending. (Happened to me with a solid brass tailpiece).

Hi Brian, I just ordered one from CHGuitard123 a few weeks ago, asked for it to be un-reliced. May I know: 1) do the tuning key holes fit a proper Kluson 3 a side tuners? 2) I actually love thick fat necks but I’m guessing the CHGuitars123 Les Paul has a very thin neck. Would you happen to know the actual thickness of the neck on yours? Thanks!
@@dermisart4448 8mm tuning holes. My 59 Replica neck is fat - original Gibson specs. He sells alot of different ones so i quess it will depend on which one you ordered. Most importantly make sure you get one with the one piece body and one piece neck!
1959 fat neck is great. Thanks what I want. I love thicker necks. Much appreciate on the reply, thank you.. I’m 1 month into the wait. I’ll let you know how it goes. Hopefully there’s no major mistakes like the tailpiece being off. Thanks, man!
It’s funny that with a solid body Guitar people obsess over one or two piece backs on their copy LPs… But they’re still paying US$7000 for a 1970s Norlin pancake body Les Paul Custom because it’s “Vintage.” I guess everything is about aesthetics… And “gestalt.”
I don't see anything "TERRIBLE" about the second guitar, except that it's a fake. I didn't hear any valid reason to stay away from those chibsons. Besides the fact that they are counterfeits, they are perfectly playable guitars, it looks like.

I just picked up a brand new el cheapo Epiphone Les Paul for 99 Euros at the Musicstore and it rocks the socks of of the bad fake! The bad fake is now a decent player after several mods but it still sucks for the $$$ Any Epi is much better! I do love the vintage reliced one with one piece body n neck though and will never sell that one.
Hi Brian, I just ordered one from CHGuitard123 a few weeks ago, asked for it to be un-reliced. May I know:
1) do the tuning key holes fit a proper Kluson 3 a side tuners?
It’s funny that with a solid body Guitar people obsess over one or two piece backs on their copy LPs… But they’re still paying US$7000 for a 1970s Norlin pancake body Les Paul Custom because it’s “Vintage.”
I guess everything is about aesthetics… And “gestalt.”
I paid $1,129 for a Fender player plus Nashville Tele that is not as nice as the guitar you say is horrible 🤦🏻♂️

I don't see anything "TERRIBLE" about the second guitar, except that it's a fake. I didn't hear any valid reason to stay away from those chibsons. Besides the fact that they are counterfeits, they are perfectly playable guitars, it looks like.
Nitpicker.
There are much better options to these fakes and for the same amount of cash, Harley Benton, IYV, firefly LyxPro and many others.
I will never buy one of these piece of shit guitars again! first one i bought was a pretty nice guitar until the neck twisted so bad that it is not playable! 2nd one i bought had a twisted neck from the start!. I could have bought a great vintage V100 for the money i wasted on those shitty guitars
You rolled the dice and it came up "snake eyes"
