Best of the 2019 IEM Katowice Major: The Coronation of Astralis, EZ4ENCE, Aces, Clutches, and More
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 жов 2024
- Guys, what a Major.
We saw the coronation of the one, the only, the unchallenged gods of Counter-Strike: Astralis. We saw a meme become reality with ENCE making it to the grand finals over the likes of Team Liquid and Na’Vi.
There were moments that made us stand up and scream and moments that touched our hearts…
So we decided to bring you the best clutches, aces, match-winning, game-defining moments that make Majors magical, as well as the out-of-game moments that made this particular Major very special.

We wish flusha and dupreeh the best. Nobody deserves to lose anyone especially close ones, If you're going through the same situation, I wish you the best.
been out of the csgo scene for a while, can you give me the context? thanks
@@TheOpenRoadExperience Dupreeh's father and Flusha's mother pasted away recently
@@TheOpenRoadExperience did you even watch the video?
@@TrottelTM i did but i wrote the comment when i just started watching
+1
Yep, I cried. Sorry to Flusha and Dupreeh for the losses. Great video guys!
im not crying, you are crying
Very nice editing by this channel too when Michael Blicharz was delivering his beautiful monologue. It delivered even more powerfully.
No, the grand finals did not end heart-pounding OT (like the legendary 2018 Boston major), but this major was still a gorgeous major to watch with unique story-line.
With Astralis' 3rd win, they claimed themselves as the literal best team ever to ever touch this game; heartbreaking stories unfolded from Dupreeh & Flusha's tragic losses; and countless thrilling OT's happened many times on Inferno & Mirage through all stages of the tournament.
It wasn't Boston, but it was still beautiful.
Maybe i cried a little bit alright...
No u😭😭
we don't deserve Dupreeh. im cri
I love you, so heartful!
What a great major this has been. The format is really good. The storyline is great, Renegades and ENCE exceed everyone’s expectations.
The grand final might not delivers but it cemented Astralis’s legacy of being the GOAT team even more. So the storyline is there for both Astralis and ENCE who had made the name for themselves at this point.
Extra respect for Dupreeh, so glad he got the win for his dad. RIP
flusha's mom too
Renegades and ENCE made the major greatttt
@@eugene5656 Absolutely agree! Respect to Flusha's mother as well. F
Can say that it’s nice to have been a fan of Astralis now that all those years of waiting finally paid off
Esketxd Ikr. I haven’t been the longest fan of them, just from TSM era (missed their time in Copen Wofl and Dig). But watching them from the promising TSM era, to choke countless time, passing the low time. Becoming the major champion only to drop down again, lots of issue (like Dev1ce’s health).
Finally they have become the greatest CS team, what a ride it has been for the boys. They absolutely deserves all the glory 100%.
@@Yukari_MAiG And people saying that Astralis plays boring CS. They literally play the most exciting CS in the world and their teamwork and coordination is just stunning to watch. Big Kreygasm there
amazing run by Ence. it's funny thescore recently did a video on Finnish esports (about Serral) and some commenters were talking about the skill of Finland proportionate to their small population size. First thing I thought of when they made the grand finals.. a comment thread on thescore. Anyways they had an amazing run, but I am personally hoping Liquid comes back and gets some W's.
Ill be the asshole... Finland, technically, isn't a part of Scandinavia
@@davidlarsen7049 it's not even a technicality Scandinavians can't understand what a Finnish person is saying at all but we can understand one another. Almost anyway Danes are abit hard sometimes
Damn my geographic ignorance got exposed xD
All I can say is that Anders Blume is a clairvoyant.
Also as far as population goes...Denmark has 5.8 million people, Finland is 5.5 million. Not really very different.
The most hype moment take 1 round agains astralis 11:58 lul
f0rest told the team, that if they get a round and won't lose 16:0, that he would stand up and hype the moment
Search for "f0rest: "We showed some pormise"" on youtube, where he talks about that in the first minute of the video.
They're just having fun lmao. Don't take pro games too seriously
they are just happy on not getting 16:0 like M16R omegalul

Where is NAF vs ENCE ace and the almost clutch of S1mple vs ENCE both on Mirage?
Or that mad okay by autimatic in dust 2
I guess they would qualify simples godly clutch that was shut down a failure, so next vid
those were arguably the two best plays of the entire major. neither in video. Feels Bad Man
And that nade from glave
S1mple went off
happy for ence but sad that s1mple lost with such an amazing performance
It takes whole team to win a game. S1mple and both teams played really well but Ence was better at that time. #ez4ence
@@Rickemann nope only simple played very well on NaVi
Look on hltv. he is not even top fragger on his team
@@melvantbali3111 stats on paper are nothing, most kills does not mean best player
He didn't played well against faze but came back vs ence.
Where is the NAF ace clutch, and automatics 4k clutch?
When Pasha presented the trophy with tears in his eyes. When Dupreeh was crying in the interview and Flusha also lost his mother. I watch CS for entertainment, and didn't expect to get manly tears in my eyes. I wish them the best! So many ups and downs... I'm proud to be part of such a fantastic community, dammit!
That last part touched my heart 😭😭💛💛
dupreeh is my fav player
I'm not very good at keeping up with the e-sports scene but good thing you guys are here to keep me informed of what's happening all over the sport. Thank you for the great vids.
I love how quick you guys are with the videos. Even with the FGC stuff.
definitionz you say this and they never made a six invitational from r6 video
Havent been following cs:go for quite a while now and decided to watch that, didnt expect to watch something packed with that many emotions, thanks @theScore and prayers go out to dupreeh and flusha
Can we get an F in the chat for Ence
I would rather give a clap emoji for making #2. Really, the first timers beat the best! Admitadly, they did lose against the global #1...
What do you mean they won the whole thing didn't you see EZ4ENCE
F for the 2nd best team in the world
For the ones commenting, I didnt type this with bad intention, they have done great, but not that sweet first tho
Another dope video 👌👌
but not 60fps 🤔
I really enjoyed this major! I have got high hopes on Ence especially on xseven. That guy nailed it.
Beautiful video as always theScore esports, you manage to always remind me why CS:GO has the most exciting, and in my opinion, the best esports scene out there right now.
7:24 N-words!
Expected from Matthew "100%" Trivett
I wasn't ready for the speech at the end ... This guy delivered a really awesome speech about the darkside of being a pro player that almost got me in tears i hope the 2 players that lost beloved people managed to pop off 😞
Dupreeh won the major, flusha is currently taking a break from competitive CS
Its disappointing that you guys have less than a million subs. You guys deserve atleast a few million
Looove your videos theScore esports! Great content, well made! One of the channel who inspired me to do my own channel! Can't wait to see the next one, good week all!
I was watching this video at uni between classes and damn the ending almost made me cry like a baby in front of strangers
Actually Gratisfaction was really impressive this major, so consistent. Surely too underrated
so nobody is talking about that allu's girlfriend got a child during major?
Really? He needs the price money then! xD
Electronic too
it was shown during the stream though the name is dadtronic and dadllu and it was shown through a small box like always on the left.
But did she die?
@@luckrzz Lol Allu isn't a skywalker
14:25 I'm not crying, you're crying..stahp..
I honestly think that everyone needs to hear that speech, mostly those who are still in the dark and think gaming is taboo of some sorts, because I don’t think that after hearing that speech anyone can be left untouched and props to that guy and the strength he had to carry it out so professionally.
Flusha and Dupree: You are SUPER heroes!
It takes some heart to stand up and deliver, even when losing loved ones.
(We saw Xyp9x and Dev1ce in this best-of-the-best clips, but yet again Astralis wins without "fantastic individual play". Yes, mvp to Magisk and all that, but again it's the coordinated TEAM play, that beats all these memorable moments of individual skills. A quick mouse or bold peaks are not going to challenge Astralis anytime soon.)
Nobody has said otherwise... The quick mouse and bold peaks makes great players. I garuantee you s1mple or whoever you are firing shots at will be remembered as the better players. A team strives with teamwork but let's not act as if the raw skill that s1mple and others possess doesn't make them great just because their teams are rubbish. Even against insane teamwork he drops the best numbers imaginable.
763 just let the guy express his love for flusha and dupreeh’s bravery, you don’t have to contradict what he’s saying just bc you think his opinion is obsolete
Ence a.k.a Budget Astralis 😂😂
Jk they did well grinding up to actually make the GF
Astralis = Best CSGO team of all time.
Hopefully Ence will defeat Astralis and become the number one team in the world.
what about the 2013-2015 Fnatic
@@iamnotsad9165 astralis would 100% win they have op team atm
@@iamnotsad9165 That Fnatic team was great but they ended up flaming out, This Astralis team is so far ahead of the rest on almost every level. They're winning Berlin later this year too which would make 4 titles the most ever.
@@iamnotsad9165 Fnatic is probably the most TALENTED team of all time. Astralis is the BEST imo
it was the best major of all time! thanks every single one
thanks for the quick upload! love the moustache
That speech Gave me goosebumps... damn
AND THIS IS WHY CSGO WILL ALWAYS BE THE NUMBER 1 IN MY HEART
Ence is #4 on the ranking now.
Amazing from them to get to the finals in their first major!

Love the channel guys great work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im not crying...YOU ARE!!!
The show must go on. Even if you're dying inside because that's what champions do.
That speech was beautiful
Amazing edit guys, my word
this is some heavy editing. yters are good but im glad we also have the big companies doing this
Where is 4k by Allu? Where is Xseven ninjas? No good clips of Ence, WTF? I guess u are fan of navi or liquid...
Edit: There is only one clip where Ence do something "awesome"
Yeah pretty sad
Even I was expecting the ence plays
Ja missä helvetissä on se että allu sai lapsen? English:And where the fuck is the thing that allu got a child
@@NokianEdustus Joo aika helevetin "puolueelline" leikkaaja täs videos🤔
3 kills in one shot from device
my condolences to flusha and dupreeh and their families
That speech at the end had me on some real shit though...
*Love your videos!*
Please wish Flusha and Dupreeh good luck and wish them good. I felt so bad after what I heard.
Ugly cried at the end even though I knew it was coming.
For me was final match Astraslis vs. Mibr, greatest performance from both teams in my opinion.
Just in the overpass, because on inferno just Astralis played well. I'm brazilian, and like a mibr fan I think if mibr had won the first map, train could be an "anticipated final"
Thank you for not discussing Fortnut all this years
Astralis is on a tear rn
Man, the editors must have the hands of God in real life
Damn that end was really emotional. Feel really bad for Flusha and Dupreeh.
I knew this was coming
Even though though the final was pretty lackluster, ENCE’e story thoughtout the major itself was insane.
I think the best moments were featured in the end, Carmac's speech, Pasha carrying in the trophy and most of all Dupreehs interview at the end.
It made me a bit disappointed in the fans though. Through out the tournament the most hated player was as usual Flusha aka "senior vac" himself and the most hated team Astralis (with dupreeh on board obviously). Imagine what they were going through with their looses while still trying to preform for all of us, and then the crowd was still clearly against them?
I'm not crying, you're crying.
I lost my Mother myself when i was 14 years old now im 26. That hit me so hard because Flusha is also my Favourite Counter-Strike Player and Teacher of all TIme!

Astralis is definitely OP
Untouchable
Where the hell is FalleN's moment on Train going down the stairs to pick up the AWP, going back up, and then back down again for the kill? That was amazing
nice background sound!!
Subscribed. NICE!

Where is the SC2? It was held at Katowice also and deserves some coverage!!

Hell yea, luv these ones
The CORONAtion of Astralis

I know Valve already had plans to add a graffiti for the showmatch, but they should also add one for flamie's double pistol ace on inferno A site. Such an impressive show of talent, like lightning striking twice.
That better use of a fast forward at 4:41 is smart.
I'm expecting ENCE's run to be its own video - hopefully
Underdog Story of ENCE plssss
Best of 2019 six invitational
11:25
kinda similar to Dupreehs play aginst C9 back in the day.
So everyone forgeted the naf clutch, twistzz almost clutch and s1mple almost clutch
And also forgot the plays of ALLU
no NAF clutch?
won't lie, that's brutal for those two men, losing one in each of their family members while they played in a tournament for not just CSGO, but for money to live their lives, for their families to remain fed, that alone is what makes ESports a real Sport along with the rest
2:24 probably the biggest TTours I've ever seen
Not many channels want to me to click instantly, This is one of those
I told the youtube chat on IEM page to show some respect, because all of them keep telling to start the game already when Michael Blicharz is telling his speech about flusha's mother and duphree's father have passed away, that kind of people that didn't know the true meaning of cs
When the alpha male Collin is finally back!
Colin McNeil delet the moztesh plox
@Colin McNeil the man the myth the legend. How is the little McNeil doing?
Please, someone have Michal Blicharz speech? It's so touching and intense. Thank you!!
wait so we get this but not one for six invitational??? And it happened like 2-3 weeks ago so why didn’t you make it???
11:27 reminded me of that same play dupreeh made vs c9 when Hiko clutched it
8:22 two Brand New references in one clutch!!! and at 12:54 too!
mass respect for Peter BibleThump
How dare you show the clip of dupreeh at the end, my heart dies every time...
1:26 I'm convinced Zellsis is Wallhacking. Watch at 0.25x speed and try to follow the logic of his movements keeping in mind he's not supposed to see the blue outlines.
1:27 First door kill... Fair enough, well played, nothing suspicious with that one.
1:29 Looks to the left of the pillar and sees an enemy near the window, but instead of shooting decides to suddenly swing to the right just when another enemy is running behind the pillar, very suspicious.
1:38 Has just spent 9 whole seconds in a clutch situation looking around the pillar for the enemy he knows is very near him (the same guy he saw near the window moments earlier), but then as soon as the blue outline of the guy in apartments comes into view Zellsis suddenly decides to switch to camping apartments, very suspicious.
1:40 He just happens to move his crosshair to the peek corner from apartments just before the enemy pokes their head out, very suspicious.
1:43 As he's scanning for the enemy while peeking, he suddenly jumps to the side where the enemy is about to peek out from a moment before the enemy becomes visible, very suspicious.
1:46 He just moved around the pillar to get a better angle on the enemy, but somehow knows that the enemy has moved to the other pillar on the right without seeing him, very suspicious.
1:47 Places his crosshair exactly where the enemy is about to poke out before the enemy becomes visible, very suspicious.
Basically this guy got nervous in a clutch and forgot to keep his cheating subtle.
Generic Internetter relax mate
He's playing the bomb timer the whole time and playing off sound. Instead of killing the guy who jumped out window, he killed the guy by bench because he heard him run towards him. He knew the last tast two players weren't by market side because they would've both been there by now, so he knew the guy by window was waiting for the flank because he wasnt peeking so zellsis hid behind the pillar and killed the aps guy. Then he could hear the last guy coming around the corner so he went towards the pillar and played sound.
Flusha looked very sad the whole tournament😞 now i understand
What a major ♥️
Flamie double ace on the pistol deserve a graffiti
NAFs ace is one of the most amazing aces ive ever seen but you didnt include it oof
“Still shook from FaZe’s loss”

Wasn't just a jumping 2k that was as an ace
@@HypherionTV well yea, but the rest of kills weren't really crazy, the clip could still belong in this video with the three other kills cut out.
