I’m glad everyone is feeling better now. It sounds like the massage really did work. It’s just amazing how quickly Solomon has picked up reading and math! He is one smart cookie!!!
Andrea, your videos mean so very much to me; and I'm so grateful you take the time to make them(even when the whole house is sick during the middle of this busy Christmas season!) Today has been kind of difficult, so after a good crying spell, I found your latest video and was immediately cheered...it came at just the right time. Claudia's bad hair day reminded me that no matter how bad things get, we still have the gift of laughter; which she supplied for me today; and we still have our Blessed Hope. Thank you for all you do...you and your family fill many voids in my life and bring so much joy~
I'm glad Miss Claudia made you laugh. There's nothing wrong with having a good cry now and then! Sometimes I tell Tom that if I can just have my cry and be done with it I feel so much better. It's when I try _not_ to cry that those down feelings want to hang on forever. I dreamed about my grandpa the other night; he and I were very close and he passed away in 2009. In my dream I gave him a big, long hug and it felt so real. It's been years since I dreamed about him. I sat in the bathroom and had a good cry in the middle of the night after that dream.
Yes, even though seeing us cry upsets our menfolk so much, it really is therapeutic, isn't it? The tears wash over our heart and balm our pain with endorphins. Thank you for sharing your beautiful dream with me...it was so touching. The Holidays seem to bring the memories back, and can be very bittersweet at times. I need to be more purposeful and intentional about being grateful...being thankful for what I DO have is the only antidote to my sadness. God has blessed me with a wonderful, loving husband named Tommy (sound familiar?), and a wonderful friend in Wyoming, who would think to share her joy with others. Bless you, dear Andrea
Awwwww......those little ones will love watching this as they get older! Listening to their mother giggle lovingly at their antics, to hear her loving voice and calm assurance and positive ways she encourages them! You don’t get that in a large school classroom. I love the way they shield their work with their arm as if someone who is not supposed to will take a peek. When they were saying...”my mommy.....no....my mommy”. When I hear Andrea I hear the fruit of the Spirit! Blessings as this precious family learn to live life without their beautiful mother and wife.
19:37 in the background you can hear the audio bible going over Isaiah. It gave me chills. She recorded exactly on that spot and it's amazing because andrea really did leave everything in order . She left Tom with so many things already set in place. The kids when she passed already knew what to do. She had them so well educated on daily chores and it's just amazing how God works and how andrea was so well prepared without even knowing it
Hi! I've been watching for a couple months now and I've grown to love you family. Claudia is so cute! I admire you and Tom for the amazing parents you are. Thank you for sharing your family with us. Happy Holidays!
When my last son was in public school I was told by his teacher to not praise him when he got his work done correctly....He is 20 now an I still Praise him for things he accomplishes... I like to hear praise for me too as u praise your family
Claudia trying to wipe off her pony tail was so funny. I think she liked two pigtails, not three ha ha. Sophia looks so pretty with little buns in her hair. Poor babies that were sick. Glad you are all better now. Solomon is doing so well with his school work. I think Sophia has learned so much just listening in. She already speaks so well for her age. So does Claudia. Probably from having older brothers and sisters to copy after.
I would watch your videos if you simply set up the camera in a corner and just let it roll. I never had a family of my own but very much enjoy your's. Doubt this is the intent but the Mills family is "family" for some of us. Cheers from Kentucky!
Peggy Louisville such a unique family! Andrea had such an amazing way of making each child know they are loved and special! So sad she is no longer with them.
I homeschool my 6 kids and sometimes it's quite chaotic, especially with my wild 3yr old! But watching these vlogs really relaxes me after a stressful day. I have adopted some of your techniques and began using some ACE curriculum too, which helps keep things efficient and organized and less prep work for me. but I wish my school days were more often as quiet and calm as yours tend to be. Thanks for sharing :)
I don’t know why Asher dropping his icecream made me laugh that hard. Also, the girls looks so pretty with their little pigtails hopefully everyone feels well
I found your channel when I looked up videos about unassisted births, and have stuck around ever since. We really couldn't have much more different lives, although I do have kids (only two), but I still love watching your videos and seeing what your family is up to. I wish you all a nice winter from Finland :)
Before I realized that the red on Claudia was marker I almost freaked out. Lolol. I hope you guys are feeling better! "my mommy" "my mommy" "everyone's mommy" Solly mediating made me laugh so hard.
It was so precious that Tom gave Sophia that beautiful rose! Now she can add it to the ornaments on the tree once it’s dried. I hope everyone is feeling better after the nasty bug made it’s way around🤢
Oh my cuteness Claudia looks just like little Cindy Lou Who .. that tummy bug is nasty,, we got it around here as well,, as always thanks for sharing this video with us :)
Claudia is just growing up so fast and what a sense of humor she has and doesn't even know it yet! She really made me laugh! So glad you all are feeling better now. Never fun to be sick but especially not over a holiday.
No one threw up after I rubbed them down with olive oil. I don't know if it was coincidence or if it actually helped. The reason I did it for Sophia was because she hadn't been able to keep any food down and olive oil has been used topically for nutritional purposes, historically, when someone couldn't eat. I've read of premature infants (in the old days) being kept alive until they were big enough to suck by applying olive oil many times a day to their skin. I figured it wouldn't hurt to keep trying it on the rest of the kids that got sick.
So, did you decide if the olive oil massages contributed to ending the illness? I am very curious about this, and if you think it really did help, perhaps you could make a video about it in the future.
Hilary Addy That is such a good question because my mom, dad AND sister are all left-handed and I'm the only right-handed one (the most logical one 😁)! I wonder how it worked out for the Mills family too.
I just rubbed down all of their skin with olive oil. I did it for Sophia because she hadn't been able to keep any food down and olive oil has been used topically for nutritional purposes, historically, when someone couldn't eat. I've read of premature infants (in the old days) being kept alive until they were big enough to suck by applying olive oil many times a day to their skin.
Good information Andrea! There are so many home remedies that have been tried and true for centuries but unfortunately, most have been lost to time.If nothing else, the olive oil message would relax the child and having Mama administering the message creates a skin to skin bond that is so important to every child. Heck it's important to adults too. :-)
Hi Andrea~ Just watched this for the second time just to see Claudia's bad hair day again, lol! I was also wondering how you made you mocha? Do you just add some syrup to coffee? Thanks
I don't drink coffee much so I just keep instant coffee on hand. I mix a spoonful of instant coffee, a spoonful of sugar and a little chocolate syrup in a small amount of water in my coffee cup. Then I fill the rest of the cup with milk and microwave it. (The water dissolves the coffee better than the milk, which is why I use a little water first.)
I took a short cut...I whisked together one tablespoon of hot cocoa mix with some lite cream until it was smooth and dissolved, then added the rest coffee. Yummy!
I've noticed in a few videos that Claudia sucks on her fingers. Do you have any advice on how to get a child to stop sucking their fingers/thumb? My niece started school in September and is still sucking her thumb a lot of the day, getting worried its messing with her speech and teeth, tried telling her to stop sucking and we will remove her thumb from her mouth, but when she's at school we cannot do this.
I've only had two kids who sucked their fingers. Eden gave it up on her own before her second birthday. Claudia still does it, especially when she's tired. I've never had to deal with an older child sucking fingers, so I don't have any advice. I may end up looking for advice myself!
Most of the kids take 2-3 hours, on average. Asher is usually done first because he gets started much earlier than everyone else. He's a morning person, unlike the rest of us! (There's always the one who lets school drag on all day, but that's not because it actually takes all day!)
Have you tried the grape juice trick? When someone in the family is sick, give everyone else who does NOT have symptoms. It’s suppose to keep the others from getting it. I’ve tried this now 4-5 times and so far it has worked! 😀. With a large family those pesky bugs can stay around forever! Hope you all are on the mend!
No, I haven't tried that. Now that you mention it, Dr. Christopher recommended something similar using raspberry leaf tea. Thankfully sickness is a true rarity at our house; it's been such a long time since I'd dealt with a vomiting child that I could't quite remember what to do! I'll have to try to remember the grape juice trick. This time around it was only us girls that got sick and Mr. Judah. The rest of the men in the family came through unscathed.
Solomon is reading so well! Way to go, Solly!! The CD we hear in the background (letter sounds and music)...is that a disk that comes with the Kinder curriculum?
There are two separate disks- one for Kindergarten and one for First Grade. The tunes are the same both years, but the words change based on the characters story for that year.
We'll probably use both colors; that's how it already is for Judah. When things come in a set of all the colors (like the dishes we have from Ikea) hot pink is substituted for red. Tom and I went shopping for more baby fabric and we chose things that had both red and pink.
Andrea Mills ok thnks I went to the doctor yesterday and they said I got the somatch but because I'm nauesa, vomit, dizzy, headnce and I only went to school on Monday and I've missed tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday and I just want to be done with this
You amaze me! I have three children. My husband and I were both married before. We came into the marriage with a daughter each, and had a daughter together. My middle daughter is married and has two ,a boy who is three And A Girl,4 Months. I Told Her The Other Day When She Came To Pick Them Up,theres A Reason God gave me my babies 12 years apart. Patience! I lack patience. You are awesome!!
Tom's stepdad told me once God didn't give him any small children because he didn't have the patience for them. (He divorced when his son was 2 and married Tom's mom when Tom and his siblings were in middle school.) I told him that having small children is how you learn patience. It doesn't come first! :)
Noooo! You're saying ukulele incorrectly. I'm a musician and these things burn my ears. I get why needed to say it the way you did for the lesson, but please, teach saully (how do you spell his nickname?) to say it properly.
If you bother researching how to pronounce it..she is saying it correctly..that’s how Hawaiians pronounce it..and it is a Hawaiian instrument...so you’ve been saying it wrong, not Andrea :)
“No, it’s everyone’s mommy” aww. Bless Solomon’s heart he’s such a beautiful kid.
I love how Solomon was very diplomatic when Sophia and Claudia were saying "my mommy" and he calmly just says "no she's everyone's mom"
I’m glad everyone is feeling better now. It sounds like the massage really did work. It’s just amazing how quickly Solomon has picked up reading and math! He is one smart cookie!!!
You are amazing with your children. I love watching Soloman do his school work. I love ALL your videos

Pamela Levesque I hope your day improved 😊 I too find solace in Andrea’s vlogs they’re pleasant and calming for me when I’m experiencing pain.
JCB MaMa~ Thank you for your kind words. I pray you and your family are enjoying a blessed Christmas Season

Soloman has the cutest personality. I love how he covers his school work in progress. I adored Claudia's 3 pony tails, she looked darling.
I like to hear praise for me too as u praise your family
your kids make me smile:) so well behaved and mannered
Solomon did a great job of pouring from the milk jug!
Soli is doing really awesome, isn't he?
I'm very impressed with Mr. "No looking!" ! 😂
I love Sophia’s buns in her hair! Adorable
Claudia trying to wipe off her pony tail was so funny. I think she liked two pigtails, not three ha ha. Sophia looks so pretty with little buns in her hair. Poor babies that were sick. Claudia is so funny! She has such great verb skills already. 😍
Claudia cracks me up.

@Peggy Louisville ME, TOO! This (the Mills family) is the family I wish I were born to. I love watching them!
Peggy Louisville such a unique family! Andrea had such an amazing way of making each child know they are loved and special! So sad she is no longer with them.
Ahhhh...watching the Beautiful Mills family, always makes Me feel better!😘
Sophia and her rose..."It's got a pink head"....so funny.

Solly mediating made me laugh so hard.
Beautiful family glad you are all feeling better🙏🏽❤️😊
Claudia is the cutest little girl ever. Love her!
It was so precious that Tom gave Sophia that beautiful rose! Now she can add it to the ornaments on the tree once it’s dried.
I hope everyone is feeling better after the nasty bug made it’s way around🤢
This is like the sixth video I've watched of Andrea's today. Claudia was so funny with her hair. Trying to wash her ponytail off.
“Don’t look”. ...and Claudia’s hair too cute🦋Watching this 9/26/19 Blessings on you - Mills family.🙏🏻
I love the title of his one - so true to life!
prayers for your family.. hope all are on the mend.
Oh man, I sure hope everybody gets feeling better soon. That's ruff. Hope y'all have a blessed rest of your day.~TM
“Everyone is sick and Claudia hates her hair” i love that title hahah
Loved seeing the kids do puzzles!
Oh Solly. Jumped up on the chair to use that gallon jug. Ha.
Oh my cuteness Claudia looks just like little Cindy Lou Who .. that tummy bug is nasty,, we got it around here as well,, as always thanks for sharing this video with us :)
I see that cute Justus!!
Hi. Love this video. Claudia is so cute. Wiping her hair do away, funny. They olay very well together.
Claudia is just growing up so fast and what a sense of humor she has and doesn't even know it yet! She really made me laugh!
So glad you all are feeling better now. Never fun to be sick but especially not over a holiday.
I think all your children look similar but Asher has a unique look his own, all very handsome though.😊
Claudia is so stinking cute!
Claudia is so cute
I have never heard of the olive oil massage for upset stomach. Did it work for most of you?
No one threw up after I rubbed them down with olive oil. I don't know if it was coincidence or if it actually helped. The reason I did it for Sophia was because she hadn't been able to keep any food down and olive oil has been used topically for nutritional purposes, historically, when someone couldn't eat. So, did you decide if the olive oil massages contributed to ending the illness? I am very curious about this, and if you think it really did help, perhaps you could make a video about it in the future.
I don't know if it did for sure, but no one threw up after they got their massage.
That is good information to keep in mind! Thanks for sharing!
Claudia & wiping her hair off had me laughing so hard.
Very random question, but how many of your kids are left handed & how many are right handed ?
Hilary Addy That is such a good question because my mom, dad AND sister are all left-handed and I'm the only right-handed one (the most logical one 😁)! I wonder how it worked out for the Mills family too.
Terry Elisabeth Too My husband, myself & our son are all right handed, but our daughter is the only lefty.
Hilary Addy
I believe we all are right handed
That’s a lot of cereal! LOL
Do you do Kefir and Kombucha, just go into it. Amazing how it helps with stomach nausea. Took away all my morning sickness too.
What is the olive oil massage?
I just rubbed down all of their skin with olive oil. I did it for Sophia because she hadn't been able to keep any food down and olive oil has been used topically for nutritional purposes, historically, when someone couldn't eat. I've read of premature infants (in the old days) being kept alive until they were big enough to suck by applying olive oil many times a day to their skin.
Andrea Mills thank you! I’ll take any tricks when it comes to those bugs! I have 4 kids and it seems so hard to keep it contained to just one kiddo!
Good information Andrea! There are so many home remedies that have been tried and true for centuries but unfortunately, most have been lost to time.If nothing else, the olive oil message would relax the child and having Mama administering the message creates a skin to skin bond that is so important to every child. Heck it's important to adults too. :-)
Lindsey Tomlin ..Andrea is a smart woman. 😊
Thanks, Andrea...sounds yummy! Just the thing for a wintery day here in NH!
I took a short cut...I whisked together one tablespoon of hot cocoa mix with some lite cream until it was smooth and dissolved, then added the rest coffee. Yummy!
I'm all about finding the quickest, easiest way to get where you want to go!
I just started watching and the title that Claudia hates her hair is cracking me up!
Then she tries 'wiping it off' 😂😂😂😂😂 LOL
My name is Claudia too😅
I've noticed in a few videos that Claudia sucks on her fingers. Do you have any advice on how to get a child to stop sucking their fingers/thumb? Andrea Mills
My only daughter sucked 2 fingers too but gave it up before 18 months.
We have the same dress as Sophia
Your smallest children are so cute. Claudia was funny talking about her hair. At least she wasn't screaming. How long do you do school every day?
Most of the kids take 2-3 hours, on average. Asher is usually done first because he gets started much earlier than everyone else. He's a morning person, unlike the rest of us! (There's always the one who lets school drag on all day, but that's not because it actually takes all day!)

hey andrea! love the vids .. may i suggest codfish liver oil and more time n the fresh air?
Because the next color in line is red, and the baby is a girl, maybe pink?
We'll probably use both colors; that's how it already is for Judah. When things come in a set of all the colors (like the dishes we have from Ikea) hot pink is substituted for red. Tom and I went shopping for more baby fabric and we chose things that had both red and pink.

Was that Peppa Pig??? We are BIG Peppa Pig fans here! LOL
Our little girls _love_ Peppa Pig. Last year Sophia even had a Peppa Pig party for her birthday.
awesome! My Hubby does a great Peppa Pig impersonation! LOL Hope you have a blessed night Sister~TM
Is Andrea pregnant or not because I saw where it said #pregnancy 9 in a vid that was upload not too long ago
Yes, there's a playlist of videos pertaining to this pregnancy on the home page of my channel, if you're interested.
Andrea Mills ok thnks I went to the doctor yesterday and they said I got the somatch but because I'm nauesa, vomit, dizzy, headnce and I only went to school on Monday and I've missed tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday and I just want to be done with this
Being sick is no fun...
When you were poorly and lying in bed not well the bible verse playing was not appropriate I sorry I did giggle hugs to all xx

Does Thomas have any plans for college or will he go into computers like Dad?? Or just hasn't decided yet? Lol
You should name your baby Noël or Anna
Noooo! You're saying ukulele incorrectly. I'm a musician and these things burn my ears. I get why needed to say it the way you did for the lesson, but please, teach saully (how do you spell his nickname?) to say it properly.
tourette hero she is trying
sevenperferct friends lol, shes the one saying it incorrectly.
If you bother researching how to pronounce it..she is saying it correctly..that’s how Hawaiians pronounce it..and it is a Hawaiian instrument...so you’ve been saying it wrong, not Andrea :)
SAMii94xo no, thats not how they pronounce it. Try again. It uses an oo sound, not u sound.
SAMii94xo oh, and does living in Hawaii for several years and playing with native musicians, count as research?
