The beautiful thing with CTA is that you are not limited to only the drawing tools they would provide. You can use your favourite software for drawing, wther its paid software like Photoshop or free software like Krita.
it's very good update. But I have some issues. I can't do any work properly. After some time, it ejects from the program. If I change a raster image from composer mode, it doesn't work properly. Please fix these bugs. I am using this version on four PCs. But sadly there is a problem with all of them. The previous version (5.1) did not have this problem. But after updating these problems are happening.

On the desktop screen, right click Display settings/Storage/ Apps & Features. It gives me the option to unistall unused apps that take up a lot of my space. Not sure if yours was as full as mine but it was eating my memory making it impossible to have CTA 5 and my Illustrator open.I hope it helps!
I've owned this software for over two months now, and I haven't been able to import a single graphic file successfully. SVG files keep coming in all black (RGB color palette). So far only works with their graphics. In fact, every tutorial video I've found has only used animator's graphics. I would not recommend it!
Importing SVG files works every time without issue. I have not heard from anyone else that they are having this issue. I dont think your issue is with the software itself.
I feel like Cartoon Animator is for when you want to do something simple and fast. Moho is more ready for more feature films and tv shows because fine tuning is better there in my opinion. I’d say Moho with its latest update even rivals Toon Boom which is the industry standard for cartoon creation. I would use Cartoon Animator for motion graphics and short character animations. It can definitely do more than that but that’s where I would use it. If I had money, I’d buy both.
The best software ios the software that does the job you want done, in the fast and most efficient way. FOr me, thats Cartoon Animator. CTA also has the added advantage of using a puppet rigged system for actors, meaning even if you cant draw you can animate. And there is no need to have the skill required to draw hundreds of inbetween frames because CTA does that for you. BUt best of all, being able to apply professional, smooth premade motions to actors for instant animated results is, in my opinion, CTAs biggest selling point.

I also had issues afterwards. I had to clean out my app data and make more room for it. Now it works without shutting down.
