I remember playing this and being told there was like a secret key that would unlock a screen that listed the creators of the game and I actually found it and that was a pretty exciting day for a 13-year-old.
What I know about playing this game is that, the golden goblet is the grand prize in the castle, make sure you have the right key for the right gate to open, keep the bat from flying off with the objects you need, and make sure you're heading straight to the right directions. Play this game reminds me of, an both old Apple 2e online computer video game called memory castle and robot odyssey. 🏰
I loved this game. Easily my fave Atari. We used to get laughing so hard we'd pee ourselves. Yorgle, Grundle and Rhindle, the Duck Dragon Trio. Yorgle was stupid, Grundle was mean, and Rhindle was a full-on bastard. In fact, back in 1980 or so, my little sister thought Rhindle's name was "F*ck" for the longest time because every time he turned up, whoever was playing would say, "F*CK, F*CK, F*CK, F*CK!" One time our Mom was playing, and Rhindle charged onto the screen, and my sister said, "Mommy, run! It's F*ck!" Mom had some questions for us....
Seeing that bat brings back bad memories Also there was one time when all three dragons came and they all ate my little box guy one right after the other Also also I was today years old when I realized the dragons put their heads up when they get killed. I never noticed that before
@@trippyfishie2295 lol... my entire Atari life was 50 shades of grey 🤣the keys were white, black and grey, so it somehow worked. They did have a switch on the front for color/B&W if i remember. 80's 4 life!

I loved it when the dragon ate you, then the bat picked up the dragon and kept flying through the map, giving you a little aerial tour.
Did you?
LOVE THIS GAME! Best game of 1980!
Its astonishing to think that The Legend of Zelda would be released in 1986, just 6 years later!

I went through my entire childhood thinking that the sword in this game was an arrow you were using without a bow.
🤣 awesome!
Holy crap. I just realized this today, too, after seeing a pic of it stuck in Rhindle.
I thought it was a spear.
I think it's meant to be a spear
Me too. I also thought the dragon was a duck.
Amazing how much fun they packed into the 2600s limited memory with this game. It had the first Easter egg I had ever heard of in a video game.

"SOMEBODY GET THIS FREAKIN DUCK AWAY FROM ME"
you forgotten the ever important easter egg

Must have been a very overwhelming experience.. 😮
You left out arguably the most iconic aspect of the game: The first ever video game Easter egg
This is not a first. Exist easter eggs, who was before this game
Best 2600 game

More exciting than Elden Ring.
Excitingly rewarding than that and Dark Souls.

I hardly recognize this in color... our families Atari was attached to a B&W uhf television! 🤣
Brutal, just have 6 keys with different shades of Gray lmao

Cool!
Somehow the dragons look more like crocodiles here.
Does anyone remember the hidden dot in the wall????
Hello good day
I know that in this game, you have to carry around one object at a time.
❤
You drag the game out a lot longer than it has to be.
