Beauty & Beast | Ambient Music with Dreadbox Nymphes and Moog Minitaur

- For this relaxing ambient music I only used my analog synths.
The Dreadbox Nymphes is a new addition that I really like. It only needs a stereo effect to shine. What really helped me to discover the Nymphes in more depth was NYMPHCC, the Midi control software from Soundmangling. Tim Shoebridge was also very helpful to figure out a few problems I had with the Nymphes in the beginning (be aware that Midi CC is set to OFF by default - a greek myth why they do it ;-))
So, here is the setup you hear:
- Dreadbox Nymphes into Meris Polymoon (Lead)
- Moog Minitaur
- Novation Summit (Multimode, one patch into Microcosm (Granules, Haze)
- Prophet 6
- Moog Matriarch
- SEND FX into Valhalla Supermassive (Andromeda)
Recorded with Ableton Live 11, mastering mainly with Plugins from SSL.
Disclaimer: All sounds you hear are designed and composed by me, all gear you see I bought myself.

Just what I needed right now - beautiful, thank you.

It’s a video for reverbs or synths ???….
It's a video for music ;-)
I think I will give the little Moog a try soon. I am looking for a good sounding small device. Very chilled Track 👍
Thanks! The Minitaur indeed is an awesome Bass-Synth!
Amazing stuff!!!
Thank you!
Your setup and song deserve a solid sub.
Thank you. Much appreciated!
Just subbed for the exact same reason. What a setup, jeez.
Awesome stuff man. Great camera work as well. Hard when all of us musicians need to learn photography as well! But you nailed it. Just Gorgeous!
Thank you very much! I have a background being a professional wildlife photographer for more than 10 years - although film still is a different game at times.
A really nice one. Wish it would be longer, but you can't have everything 😉. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Michael! Promise to upload a longer one next time ;-)
