Welcome to the era of 4k where we can glaze over higher pixels and color count!
As soon as 4K became the new thing I basically quit collecting movies. I have absolutely 0 interest in going out & re-purchasing a bunch of movies I already own for $30 each .... I have better things to do with my money. lol
@@dougsworld7533 I still collect both blu rays & 4ks. I'm just more selective of the 4ks I buy. Plus there's still a ton of gems on blu ray that will never be released on 4k so it's always fun tracking those down.

When 8k blurays come out, John will hate every movie he owns in 4k because it's not high quality enough.
The Diamond Edition of Lion King didn't include Morning Report in the film itself - only as a Special Feature. The only edition of the movie that has Morning Report in the film itself is the Platinum DVD.
I absolutely love The Exchange. Fun tip: the less stuff you bring, the more money you get.
The exchange looks cool as hell unfortunately the store that sold movies near me went bankrupt so I have to resort to Best Buy or online... I miss the thrill of the hunt

This Flick Trip was the best one in a long time. Every flick trip is good and rewatchable af, but this one has this "vintage" feel from 2014-2015. Great job John! I love all your videos.

I used to go into The Exchange all the time, one of the things I liked about them was that they used to have new DVD & Blu-Ray releases that were suppose to come out on Tuesday two days early on Sundays.Yeah, they were a little expensive than they should've been but it was cool to see those new releases a few days early.
John, you've already stated what the worst 4K transer is (T2: Judgment Day), but what is best 4K transfer in your opinion? Jurassic Park looks incredible on my 4K TV.

The Night Before is actually a pretty damn good holiday movie with a surprising amount of heart. Also: Seth Rogen on drugs the entire movie is worth it. It's pretty good John.

I used to have hundreds of DVDs and Blu Rays until I realized it was all basically pointless. Buy a movie when it comes out on disc for $15-25 and then watch it a handful of times over a 5 year period or so then sell the disc for like $1-2 and even that is usually just store credit.

The Exchange is one of my favorite places but I do have to admit that you have to pick and choose your locations I personally prefer the one in Lakewood by the way there is a bar where you can play Arcade games while getting hammered right next to the exchange in Lakewood lmao enjoy John.

Hey John, I've just been working on forming a band and hopefully it will kickoff big one day. I've also been watching a whole lot of WWE because I love it, and at my regular night job I work at a restaurant and I was taking the trash out last night and just because I felt like it I screamed one of my all time favorite bands out loud. And that band's name was SLAYER!!!! Love the videos John, you are one of the UA-camrs I watch most.
