Own 2023 advice Run AC before buying to make sure noise level something you can tolerate, probably wouldn't of bought mine if heard how loud before purchasing...
Fresh water over flow has issues of emptying out as you travel...so if you dry camping beware tank will probably be close to empty when you arrive at your destination just the two negatives I have after 4,500 miles on trailer and 1 year of ownership

This is actually pretty cool for a quick camping trip!! On a side note, you mentioned about the TV not being a smart tv I have been looking for a video showing how to remove the tv from the pantry door on a 2022 Forest River 290 VB model
TV is a Sansui and it's NOT a smart tv Also, I need to mount a shelf on that same backing to put the Blu Ray player since you safely can't put it in the cabinet area below the tv and above the fireplace
I've had a tv to replace this one for 3 months now but no one can figure out what tool you need (even the dealer that i bought it from) to unscrew the tv from the mount
Once I DO get it removed, I'm putting a traditional mount on that wall where you pull the strings and the tv pops up and releases

The puck lights still allow you to turn them on and off individually. These are either all on or all off.
That’s true. Which is why they give a dimmer switch if you want less light
We just looked at this. Very nice! We really like this one. Good fit and finish. I like the new light strips. They look much cooler in person. Blue light over the bed is fun too. Nice presentation.
New lights: when I first saw them in a diff video i hated them. Then i saw in person and realized it has dimmer switch. I have not seen it with the lights actually on (in person) and that is the only way to really know if i will like them. I wish there was a switch for each light strip.
Still HATE the sink. Come on Grand Design give us a deeper sink with separate high rise faucet and separate sink cover/cutting board.
I think you’ll really like the lights if you get a chance to see them on. And I agree on the sink!
For such a small trailer it's really nice and very modern. That's the first time I've seen the fridge with a bottom pull out freezer really nice and the bathroom is up to date although the shower is very small it has a lot of nice features. I would like to see on the shower where the water can circulate until it gets warm
Beautiful. Not sure I like as much as the Forest River units you recently receivef
Little sinks are a bummer! Love the floor plan with great storage. Outside needs to be more aerodynamic, this will be a strain on tow unit. Good review!

Appreciate the video, nicely done. Have to say though, Grand Design needs to align with their price point on two items: storage doors need to be slam latch, and stabilizers need to be similar to Rock Solid system on Jayco TT. Kind of silly their still using old crappy features.
The tiny kitchen and bathroom sink almost takes this out of the running for me. But otherwise, I like this camper.
The sink is ridiculous.

Nice review. You do a good review on the RV and what vehicle can tow the TT. Are you going to review the 2670mk and 2500rl? Would like to get your take if they are 1/2 ton towable. Keep up the good work.
Yes I will get to those. I did a review of an imagine 2970RL a week or two again that is heavier than both of those models you mentioned and I went into the towing aspect extensively if you want to check that out.
Really nice TT from GD. One thing that comes to question is the ceiling strip lights. I like the function but as with any strip light you will eventually get dead lights that will leave dark spots in strip. Also are those going to be replaceable 3-5 years down the road and at what cost?
I'm not a fan of dinette's. Maybe a movie theater couch would be nice.
Some people prefer a dinette over a theater seat. Hence manufacturers offer different floorplans to suit varying needs of consumers.

What would the weight limit be on the foot end of the bed at the 21:53 mark? Over hanging like that seems like it cound bend easily with a 200 lb person sitting there for whatever reason.

I think puck lights near bed for late night reading.
Want puck for ease of future replacement. However would love to be able to dim pucks to comfort level.
Didn't see any electrical outlets in kitchen counter or in the bathroom.
Not a fan of the dinette. It’s wasted space to me. I’d prefer more storage or a bigger fridge/freezer.
But I love the micro/convection combo - love the two burner stove situated as is, love the bathroom. Would like a deeper sink and would love a solar package option.
I think this is the one we’re getting in the near future.

Ok back by the bed on the left side there is a white box it looks like there is an antenna on it what is it for and you missed on the holding tanks what do they hold gallons
Fresh water - 37 gal

How much is it ?
Product knowledge - the walls, floor & roof are Azdel, NOT fiberglass.
We own a GD XLS 22mle Imagine. We are looking to add another want to add another TT. And the AIM line up and floor plans are creative and exciting. “BUT” sadly why did they go 8ft wide and practically 90 degree front nose No aerodynamics. That’s your worst enemy is Wind Drag! You can have a 5000 lbs trailer with great aerodynamics and place less stress on your Tow Vehicle then a 3000lb Trailer with NO aerodynamics like the AiM product that will make your Tow Vehicle push harder through the wind. We will wait on the Serenova? Not sure what they were thinking when their conglomerate owner Winnebago makes the Micro Minnie which is super successful and only 7ft wide.
They could had simply gone more narrow 7.4 Ft wide at most and slightly longer, in order to slant the front nose of rig for less wind drag.
