I just transformed a living room into bedroom with some curtains, what should i do in this case?
I’m seeing you guys this for the first time, I’m Indian and my husband is not Indian, we have open kitchen which is in the living room and in front of the staircase to the second floor. I make Indian dish only once in a week but it makes my house smell full of masala. I mostly eat Indian dishes or fish from outside because of my husband even though he says it’s Kay you can cook I will manage but thanks for this tips and I will use this.

This topic is so close to my heart hahahaha. We have lived i apartments i Saskatoon in 10 years and so sick of doing the whole procedure of closing the doors before cooking a simple dal. But we have recently bought a house and we purposely opted for an older house with a separate kitchen, not open concept. We plan to install 800 cfm chimney which vents out and hope that I don't smell like chole bhature after cooking 😉

Hello,sardarji I have one great idea and that is 1000%sure and use CAMPHOR (Kapur which on we are use in ARTI and PUJA ) Keep all corners of house and under the carpet,try pls it is very very infective it is available at all indian grocery store.(One most important thing is it top class source natural source of pure OXYGEN .So many use in indian remedies.🙏

As a pakistani who loves to eat biryani, kababs, haleem etc, this video is especially importan because it is bad manners to smell in a way that is irritating for the person sitting next to you, thank you for this
Finally, my fellow Pakistanis experience the same thing as I do but the problem is some of the other Pakistanis or Indians don't want to understand it. If you sit somewhere on your own in your fresh clothes, the person sitting next to you smells of curry, which is so disgusting, especially if you know them but can't sit somewhere else out of respect. To be honest if my room smells of even the slightest of curry I can't sleep at all. What I do is I leave my bedroom windows open 24/7 and 365 days as I never ever shut my windows coz I can't bear the curry smell and I also leave a padestal fan on which does the trick. I have floral-scented air fresheners (the plug-in ones) that I leave on for longer.
The Indian spice makes the house smell nice why to get rid of it? Kidding I love your videos guys.

Cinnamon and cloves are very common ingredients in Indian curry. The issue is the west has decided for us what smells good, what looks good and we have decided to follow the same. I do not condemn the idea of making home smell good. But what we consider good smell, is the idea of west. Cinnamon and cloves smell good because they are baking smells of an American household. Not hating just pointing out the facts !!
