Hi everyone! I purchased two different Revlon brush-style hair dryers in order to determine which would work better for my hair. And I wasn't convinced either would! Now after 4 months I’m reviewing both, sharing pros/cons and providing a side-by-side demo of how I use both of them to get the sleek, straight results I like to get from my blow-out. Thanks for watching!

Ok so I keep coming back to your video😊 you make it look so easy ! I already tried mine and the first time I just used a conditioner spray by schwarzkopf and the second L'Oréal spray heat protectant and the second my hair drier pulled a lot of hair so I don't know if its the spray or the brush, I also viewed the hair products you recommend me but they are for blond or colored hair ,.wich of those is the most essencial in you hair rutine that can't miss for your hair care?🙈 I would also like to know what hair straighteners you use

I enjoyed your video! I have the round brush and I love it. I wish my style would last a couple days, but when I wake up it’s like I never styled it the day before 🙁 Any tips on that?

Thank you for the feedback! For me, the key to keeping my hair straight and frizz-free is combating humidity. I do a few things to help. I use the cool setting to close the cuticles so humidity can’t penetrate as much. I use a frizz-fighting spray that is a miracle product (I don’t use that term lightly either) - the IGK Good Behavior spray. And I wear a hat and twirl the top layer of my hat up in it when I’m going to be outside in humidity for more than a few minutes. My hair despises humidity and these things seem to work for me. Hope that helps! And thanks for watching!!

I filmed that video a couple of years ago now and can tell you the paddle brush is the one I use more than the other. It’s good too, but the paddle brush gives me the sleek, non-poofy look I want most easily. My only complaint is how hot it gets. But after 2 years it’s still going wrong. Hope you enjoy yours! Thanks for watching!!

Even though I have thick hair, it’s definitely dry and damaged so I think the products I’m currently using could be useful for you too. I’m currently using 3 products on my towel dried hair before blow-drying. The first is the Pureology Strength Cure Miracle Filler Treatment (about 5 sprays). I’ve used this for years, but was recently rebranded. Next I use IGK's Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Smoothing Blowout (about nickel-size amount). This is a new product for me as I decided to try it after my previous product ran out (which I liked too, but I like this one maybe even better!) and then last I use a healthy dose of IGK Good Behavior Spirulina Protein Smoothing Spray, mostly to keep the frizz at bay. This is about my 4th can of it. I really like it. This has been a really good combo for me.

I find that using a heat glove helps when using the paddle brush, it makes holding the brush at the right angle to use comfortable without burning your hand and having to move your hand down the shaft and feeling awkward when using it.

That’s a great idea! I don’t actually have a heat glove, but I’m sure I can find one on Amazon. Thanks for sharing the tip!!

Hmm I'm very curious about this item! I don't usually blow dry my hair (I air dry), but I do think there are days when it'd be good to blow dry to look a little more professional

You are so lucky you can air dry! Even putting aside that I don’t like the results of my hair when I air dry, it just takes too long to air dry as well. I do think one of these style dryers would be good though. They’re a modest investment compared to many dryers on the market and provide amazing results! Thanks so much for watching!!

I have the Volumizer and like it very much! My hair is very thick and straight, and I have a lot of it. In addition it's color treated, so it's dry at the ends. Drying my hair is a huge chore, and I try to limit washing/drying to twice per week. Whether or not I wear it straight or curl it, I prefer volume at the roots. The best method for me is to do a rough dry with my regular dryer, getting the roots lifted with my fingers. I switch to the volumizer when my hair is 90% dry. I have to section it, etc. but the reason I use it is that my hair is super smooth when I'm done. Even though my hair is straight, it can get frizzy very easily. This dryer kills the frizz. I share your "cons." I find that the high heat setting is way too hot, so I have to use the low setting. But I would be thrilled if this dryer had a cool shot!!! That would make it so much better and more convenient. It's a great tool, though! I have no regrets at all!!
    Great review, well done!!

Thanks so much for sharing your styling process! I think I’ll try your method of doing a rough dry with the regular hair dryer first. I’d love to be able to apply less heat and that sounds like a great way to do it while also getting the roots drier. Thanks for watching!!
