Episode 56 - Being a Pharisee vs Being a Disciple
Вставка
- Опубліковано 5 жов 2024
- In this episode we discuss the issue of Pharisees - “are we the new modern day pharisees?” Is there a right way to convict people? and how did Jesus go about it. We also explore the sacrifice of being a ‘true disciple’ and the process of sharing Christ’s glory and suffering. This was quite a self-reflective episode where we had to look within ourselves and touch on the posture of our hearts as believers.

Thank you for sharing your gift with us. Loved this one !
So good thank you
I think another important thing to mention even though we don’t want to be Pharisees I think they obeyed out of an unhealthly fear of the Lord. The generations before them saw and told of the Lord opening up the earth below people and swallowing them up alive. I think this caused them to fear the Lord in a way that he didn’t necessarily ordain if that makes sense
The quality in this video👏🏽well done guys♥️
Amazing Episode You Lot, Every Christian Needa here this💯
@d4dazzo100 genuine question how do people even become pharasiees
@@Monke_boi13 People become pharisees by becoming prideful in terms of their own life; they think they are morally superior to everyone else so they tend to look down on other people and condemn other who sin more openly than they do. They are self-righteous because they think they are better based on what they do ie.( the outward good works they do) rather than seeing their own inward sinfulness compared to God(ie. Jesus who was perfect) Hope that helped👍🏾
@@d4dazzo100oh ok thanks for the response bro 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Great discussion guys. If as Christians we are to use the conversation between Jesus and the Samaritan woman as a model to reach out to the word, we will need to study and have control of the word of God.
600 laws 😂nah fam thankful for Jesus
