The Rise of ISRAEL ADESANYA - From Kickboxing Champion to UFC Superstar

Israel Adesanya is a Nigerian-born mixed martial artist and kickboxer, who is currently the Middleweight Champion in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He is known for his unique fighting style and undefeated streak in MMA. Adesanya made his UFC debut in 2018 and quickly rose to prominence, winning his first five fights and capturing the interim Middleweight Championship in 2019. He became the undisputed Middleweight Champion in 2019 after defeating Robert Whittaker.
On November 12, 2022 at UFC 281, Israel Adesanya faced Alex Pereira in a rematch. Adesanya, previously, lost the fight and his middleweight title to Pereira via fifth-round technical knockout at UFC 281. However, Adesanya redeemed himself on April 8, 2023, at UFC 287, winning the rematch and reclaiming the UFC Middleweight Championship with a second-round knockout.
