An immediate rematch was not the right choice for team Wood , a rematch in general was not the right thing to sign up for , people forget Lara was probably down on the score cards but there were 5 more rounds to go the man hits like a mule.

You've got to be happy for Lara from where he's come from and what he's achieved and managed to do for his family. I hope wood wins, but it's gonna be very difficult to avoid getting hit clean for 12 rounds... and as we know, it only takes 1 shot of Lara. The kids got dynamite in both hands, which makes him great to watch. I'm looking forward to this 1. If he wins again, I'd like to see tye Warrington rematch.

Jeez this rematch came about quick. Leigh is really up against it but if he can stay switched on for the 12 he might get the decision but difficult against someone as dangerous as Lara, he might get finished quicker
Don’t see this one going the distance, Lara is dangerous yes but so is Leigh, aslong as Leigh don’t hook with a hooker which is the mistake he made last time, I see him winning. He was well up on the cards last time cruising until he made that mistake

Lara was looking for that shot though, wood could have been stopped in the second round as well. The same punches had been landed up until that point as well, wood was maybe up a round or two, the commentators make it seem always in Britain like it’s a shut out.
@@gabrielsteffensen3700 Certainly wasn't a shutout, but Wood was winning. He made a mistake at exactly the wrong time, which is why he lost.
@Raven Aussie I would also say he was up by effective punching but it wasn’t a easy night for him before the KO either, he was on wobbly legs in the second round.
The thing is, yes he made a mistake that cost him dearly, the problem is that Lara can punish wood for that in any round, that punch could’ve come from a mistake in the first round or the last. It’s hard to not get hit or make a mistake for 12 rounds, if he isn’t as sharp as he’s ever been he la gonna be at a big risk again.
This and the conlan fight on the same day nice two weeks ahead for boxing fans

Lara was landing the hard power shots and was able to take Leigh's power. He made him feel a false sense of security and 👊🏽 nite nite for wood. I see this 2nd fight going the same way. Wood might be up on points but Lara wont need the judges corrupt scoring to win.
Look how badly Lara was hurt by that body shot at one point. He was not making Wood feel a false sense of security at all. He was getting beaten.

Too early for the rematch, Wood would have to wait at least until the end of summer. The defeat may have taken away the English boxer's confidence. Lara is fast, powerful, this rematch will be a problem for Wood.
Ben Davison should be clutching that white towel from the first bell. He will probably need it again. Lara is younger, faster, stronger, and takes a better shot than Wood. Only chance Wood has is if the judges rip Lara off.

I'm watching Leigh Wood there and his chin is sticking out as he throws that left hook. U never hook with a hooker. This guy LARA was hurt bad to the body last fight. I saw that clearly. He was beginning to crack but he found that massive left hook and KO'd Leigh. Leigh has a lotta heart and he was regaining a major foothold in the 1st fight but he was also cut and busted up. If he is to win this rematch then he has to work Lara's body with everything he's got. Then he can take it down the stretch and maybe even KO Lara. The body attacks are crucial for me if Wood is to win this rematch.
Lara is a top young fighter. He has real KO power too.
