I think all seasons are just way too good any footballer would dream to have one of those seasons/year and Messi has so many… My opinion: -2009 title season: He won sextuple 6 out of 6.. crazy and was dominant individually. -2010 starting goalscoring season: broke several records got first golden boot as a playmaker (10) -2011 goat season: destroyed teams individually and got ucl, peak Guardiola team, the Messi, Xavi , Iniesta era. -2012 the smashed goalscorer season: He got another golden boot and completely destroyed football long standing records in terms of goals. 91 in a year, 50 in La liga, 73 in a season is just unheard of, only Cristiano would dream of. Messi was outscoring teams in Europe while Ronaldo was only trying to catch Messi. -2014 World Cup failure year: Even on defeat in Brazil wc against Germany Messi was still one of the best players in the world and recovering from injury for more seasons to come. -2015 Second treble year: Messi comes on top of the world again winning another treble and making a fearsome attack with MSN. Individually no one better once again. -2019 One man army year: Probably one of the best Messi years individually not collective, it was him against Europe, almost got another treble single handedly with ter stegen with a broken Barcelona. Definition of carrying a team ? Messi is the perfect example this year. Closed the year with 3rd golden boot in a row and to complete 6 in total for most in history. -2021: The national team era: another individual year that no one did better, only lewandoski got more goals that year by a few but Messi lead everything else including 2 trophies > 1 of lewandoski, people still cry but lewa was 2020 which was canceled. -2022-23 Cemented goat status year: winning the World Cup and 2 trophies with PSG, and having most goal contributions than haaland and mbappe which are in their prime, Messi closed one of his lowest season but yet so powerful than not even mbappe or haaland could achieve yet. Probably the closing of the best career ever winning all there is in football and finishing in the best with Argentina. 8th ballon d’or won’t probably be ever broken in our lifetime.

There were a couple of same occasions of handball from Chelsea players. So not a robbery, poor judgment. Of barca would loose everyone would say they got robbed
