Work to improve the capabilities of the ammunition recently developed within the Turkish defense industry continues unabated.
TOLUN ammunition developed by ASELSAN hit the target with high precision in the test firing under intense GPS jamming in Konya Karapınar. This success once again demonstrated ASELSAN's superior capabilities in ammunition technology.
TOLUN was developed as a high-precision guided munition equipped with a GPS/INS guidance system. Thanks to the GPS/INS guidance system, it provides high accuracy towards the target. It can operate even in challenging conditions such as intense GPS jamming. It offers wide operational flexibility with different range options.
TOLUN can be integrated into different warplanes such as F-16. This ammunition offers a low-cost and effective solution and plays an important role in increasing the operational capabilities of air forces.
On the F-16 platform, 4 TOLUN ammunition can be carried on each wing, making it possible to neutralize 8 different targets in a single sortie.
Miniature Bomb TOLUN, which can be used effectively against structurally reinforced targets and shelters, has the ability to penetrate 1 meter thick pressurized concrete within a range of 55 kilometers and explode inside.
With its ability to hit the desired target with high precision and low secondary damage, TOLUN can be used effectively in urban conflicts and in civilian settlement areas to destroy strategic targets.
To date, TOLUN has been integrated into F-16 aircraft and Bayraktar Akıncı unmanned aerial vehicle.
The test firing conducted in Konya Karapınar is of great importance in terms of proving the capabilities of TOLUN ammunition and ASELSAN's technological capacity. Despite intense GPS jamming, the ammunition hit the target with high precision, once again demonstrating the reliability and effectiveness of TOLUN.
The successful completion of this test revealed how far ASELSAN has come in defense technologies and its determination to increase the global competitiveness of the Turkish defense industry. TOLUN ammunition not only strengthens domestic production capacity but also has a significant export potential in international markets. The recent export success with TOLUN also demonstrated this.

Eskiden düşman hava üssünün tam tepesinden,aktif uçaksavarlara rağmen bomba atmak gerekiyordu şimdilerde 100 km öteden uçaksavar menzili dışından güdümlü mühimmatı atmak harika olur.

Hocam bide F16 yerine Siper hava savunma sistemi yapsaydık etki alanı nekadar farklı olurdu bir ele alırmısın . Benim hesabıma göre o parayla en az 75 bin füze ve bunları destekleyen batarya sistemleri yapabiliyoruz.Buda Türkiyenin değil tüm Orta doğunun hava savunması yapabileceğimizin manasına geliyo.
