      Absolute nonsense. Most dinosaurs are not built or adapted to swim or breath under water. This is just like the feather debate. They find a few feather like features on a Tyrannosaur or Raptor and assume almost all dinosaurs had feathers. Most dinosaurs didn't have feathers and most of them couldn't swim either.

    I think T-Rex probably swam like a crocodile. When swimming, the legs / arms would probably be dormant while it moves forward by means of lateral wavelike motions of the tail. Controlling its position in the water would depend on its weight and the amount of air in its lungs.

    All dinosaurs would have to know how to swim, am I correct? So, yes, I'm pretty sure that Rexy could swim. But it's a bummer that we never actually got to see her swim in any of the movies or in Camp Cretaceous! Like the famous line from the original Jurassic Park once said " Life finds a way " every single dinosaur found a way to protect itself and made sure it was heard so that everyone knew they existed! Great video today, Shadows! I loved today's video! Well done!

    The t-rex river attack scene was likely turned into the spinosaurus attacking the boat in JP3. Which would make more sense that a spino which was more aquatic anyway would be more likely to attack from the water than a t-rex or allosaurus, both of which would probably only swim when necessary but probably not often.

    • @thanujadamithangani7265
      @thanujadamithangani7265 Рік тому +2

      Yep. And not to mention, another reason it didn't happen its because Steven Spielberg did not want to film another animatronic swimming in the water after his experiences in making Jaws. Of course, I'm pretty sure that you probably know that he had a great difficult time filming that movie so he didn't want a repeat there again only with a animatronic T-rex instead of an animatronic shark.

    Tyrannosaurus rex is a very good swimmer based on prehistoric planet with in accurate T. rex but with rexy from Jurassic park, she is a very good swimmer indeed I have no idea why they would cut the river raft scenes off I wish we could’ve seen Alan and the Murphy’s being chased by rexy in the water and into the jungle but with the stupid trees in the way and with the dilophosauruses seen in the picture you showed us and rexy’s head being in the water fall but failed to grab lex with the tranquilizing kicking in but how was it timed right at the right scene? No idea but that scene was in the lost world tbf and it did kill a parasaurlophus in the process and dragging it to the dock and it did get tranq shot by the guy that tried to shoot the raptor but failed and there was a juvenile T. rex on isla Nublar but wasn’t seen in the film but I’m sure rexy could be taking care of him and rexy did kill both raptors after saving Alan and the Murphys tho I feel like there could’ve been swimming T. rex scenes in the other films along with buck, doe, bull, little eatie and big eatie (my opinion) and also all dinosaurs should be able to swim both carnivores and herbivores like ceratosaurus is a good swimmer with it’s flexible tail used as a paddle and other herbivore dinosaurs but T. rex is a great swimmer! And the juvenile T. rex could also swim based on prehistoric planet maybe he could’ve been swimming with rexy but who knows so let’s hope rexy survives and hopefully the juvenile one stays alive and both continue surviving! I'm pretty sure a T-rex wouldn't swim or venture into deep water. It's proportions don't favour buoyancy and it would have difficulties staying upright. There are no gills to help it breathe under water, so it would need to keep its head above the water, but being bottom heavy with a long tail, it would pull the head under. The lungs would then fill with water. I just can't see a T-rex being able to breath properly, or being able to swim/paddle properly. They likely wouldn't risk going into deep water. Plus they could get grabbed by Mosasaurus, Megadon shark, crocodiles etc, since they aren't adapted to battles in water. Most T-rex's weren't in areas with seas or big lakes either. It just doesn't seem logical for T-rex to swim, although we cannot say for sure.
