My mom passed on in August of 24, and I feel as though I'm here all by myself now because I relate to her world and my grandmother's world better than today's world. I'm in this one but I'm not of this one I enjoyed her stories I enjoyed the music the laughter the parties the get together, the barbecues, the happiness that we all shared, and now nobody does that anymore, it's like now that she's gone I feel so lost and lonely àlot of these people that we're looking at right now I feel the lost of them too I felt like they were part of my family too, because I've been viewing them for decades and I'm in my 60s right now.!! I feel like I'm 90 myself because I don't know who all these new people are. God bless all of you all who have lost somebody or people special in your life. My prayers go out to you, thanks🫡🙏💔😔
I know the feeling. My only sibling died unexpectedly in October, and my 91 yr old father just passed away on the 26th of December. Me and my Mom are left. I'm in my early 60's too, and was soooo lucky to have my Dad for as long as I did. I am working on trying to keep my mom going now......hang in
I'm 61, I understand. I think this is prevalent in our age group because the modern society Americana...my daughter's generation onward value nothing, and basically no one except themselves, unless you useful to them. Is a narcissist explosion culture. Look for others in your area in our same age group and develop your own friends/family...we are out there. Set up an informal 60's Ladies group for doing lunch, reading, whatever everyone wants to do- don't give up, go smile at yourself right and say GOD loves you so much He gave His Son for you - whether you believe it or not. It works. I know from experience. Depression kills. Depression > Disease > Death. My prayers for comfort, strength, and GOD's Peace and contentment.
You can start your own parties and traditions. Keep on, don’t let your mother’s passing cripple you. I hope you decide to have fun and find new fulfillment. 😊🙏🏼🤍🦅
You have done the best job of anyone paying tribute to all lost this past year...much better than any network on television or streaming that I've seen. Thank you.
Linda Lavin was so great when she had guests roles later in her life. Her east coast accent and attitude along with her timing and sarcasm made her characters so cool. RIP Alice ❤
I was about 5 or 6 at the time my mom used to watch 'Alice'. It wasn't till I got a little older that I watched reruns of the show and appreciated it even more. Linda Lavin's acting and singing of the opening intro was amazing. RIP 🕊

@@704Woman she was so good as the potential mother-in-law on Mom. She was in 1 more episode after the dinner episode. I wish they would have made her a permanent cast member. I loved her!

President Jimmy Carter may not have been one of the best presidents but he was indeed one of the best humanitarians. He and his wife were such selfless, hardworking, generous couple. I lost my boy (16) Oct 10, 2024. Miss him immensely.

I remember the episode of ToH when he retired and passed the torch to a new lanscape consultant because he was too ill to continue. It seems like a very long time ago.

😮Unfortunately for the world, Jimmy Carter was a fine, loving man but probably the worst, most clueless president in history. His hillbilly brother, Billy, probably would've done a better job. 😢
