Visited Crossing Republic around 4 years back. It looked like a small Oasis in a Hinterland (if you consider high rise building as Oasis).
Remember I am only calling it as Oasis as opposed to township like Wave City. Oasis has limited scope and township has more scope with respect to avenues.
It is adjacent to NH-24 and the highway than was noticeable with dusty Puncture Shop, Cement Shop or few roadside Tea Shop. It looked dull and dead then.
Within small Crossing Republic, there were one or two Shopping Complexes for groceries or Gol Goppa type eateries. If one needs to visit Malls or restaurant, the nearest would be at least 12 KM at Indirapuram.
If one loves peace and tranqulity, it is decent but transportation was a big challenge. One must have a 4 wheeler if not two wheeler. Because of difficultly of Transport system, I am not sure how safe it would be for independent working women or even College/University Going girls. The nearest Metro is 10.5 KM at Noida Sector 62. So owning and traveling with personal vehicle is a necessity.
Not connectivity but approach road is an issue, else crossing is a great place to live. Gaur city mall is around 2km , rest dominos pizzahut & other famous restaurant chains are in township itself
