I love that you were honest and brought nuance to this discussion! Yes, in fact it is both patriarchal and feminist-and this happens because of who interprets the texts and who makes certain ones popular or not. I would say it leans patriarchal today because the popular ones are least feminist, which means the feminist ones are not being brought to light, and it's those in power (likely men) that don't see anything wrong with this. I wish you had shared that we should try to highlight feminist texts and examples throughout history even more so that Hinduism can become an active supporter of social and political equality today.
Bro ! I just want to ask one question and it's that why are women built physically weaker than men ? In tantra we say "shakti" is all powerful but in reality women are no matter how much workout they do they can never become physically stronger like men . Please give reply 🙏🏻 why the bhagwati who has extreme power made a women so weak ?? Why ?? Jai shree ram 🚩🙏🏻

I think it's to show that there's something beyond physical power that can make a human being powerful, it's not only physical strength which defines power and action in a human being. things such as intellectual capacity and the power to create life and reproduce another human are pretty powerful, which women only are capable of doing. Like, if someone is blind for example, they're visually weaker, so they grow and strengthen other senses like hearing, taste, smell, etc. so their senses are much more powerful than that of a normal human being. Same way, women were physically disadvantaged so that they have the opportunity to grow their intellectual capability. This is why if you notice, old women have so much knowledge, often more knowledge than the old men. There were even female Vedic scholars in the past who made their lives using their intellect. Unfortunately, these things should have been addressed, but nowadays we have taken all that away and called "tradition" simply women being a householder and being subservient to her husband no matter what. This is impact of Kali Yuga, if you ask me.

What do you define as strong? A woman can go through unimaginable pain of child birth. There are videos of period pain stimulation experiment done on male body builders who ended up crying.

I try my best not to give my personal opinions in these videos so that's why
Firstly, who decides what actually is feminist in nature ?

Women aren't weak at all.
They are strong in different ways than men.
