Had the same issue. Could be that you're flat footed. I got flat feet, tried the same ariat, and had this immense pressure on the front end of the heel. Tried the durango, which is very flat, and they are perfect.
I'm flat footed and the slant doesn't hurt my feet at all i love the way the slant looks from a side angke view i hate boots without em it looks freakin weird i have these in fiddle brown i hated the durango american flag boots they were comfy as hell but too damn hot and i didnt like it not having the slanted arch look but they were comfy as hell i gota agree
Dude, don't take it out on the boots. They can't help it if they were made that way. They only want to please you. It makes them sad if they can't, but they don't deserve to be thrown off the table. They can make someone else happy. If you don't want them, put them up on eBay for sale and you'll probably get your money back.
Sounds like you figured out you don’t like the shape of the boot. They are probably decent quality but you don’t care for the way they feel. Now you know. You should try selling them on Facebook. I got $40 for a pair of Ariat boots that I bought and tried to break in but just couldn’t ever get used to them.
Ehhh my feet kinda hurt after work everyday. I have gotten use to them. But when I got slip on my Durango’s I always remember how uncomfortable the Ariats are.

Country Handyman is this video old?
Yes it’s been sitting waiting to be edited. I just got busy and forgot. I have one more with my new Durango steel toes that I need to get up as well
Would you sell them?
I respect that those ones the idea is they put way more security on the heel and have a bad habit of putting no ball of the foot support
Yes that's a good way to put it
I love the blue on them boots
Had the same problem.
Thanks for the vid saved me from a bad decision
