Tough game for you but lots of learning opportunities and good of your opponent to offer some insight into his strategy and tactics. He’s probably right about resigning when it gets too out of reach but each to their own. That attack power lead by the later rounds was absolutely astonishing.
I stumbled on this video and I played against him maybe a couple of weeks ago. It is still on my log and I can look up how it started and what happened. Going to your comment about him, Platinum 3 in Season 4 - I should take another look at that game and see if I can piece together what all happened. Maybe I can say hi to him on Discord.
The tank rush in my eyes is mainly when Russia has a insane Ukraine and you want to have a follow up attack in case the retreat combo doesn't work. Retreat combo is send all land units into Ukraine plus 1 transport with Infantry and artillery maybe 1 fighter, ideally you aim to have a strafe to take out every unit except 1 and the retreat. The 2 units from the transport can't retreat and you hope to take it with those. But eventually unless he goes KJF you stop buying tanks since you need those infantry. G2 I think the main mistake was not to guard Africa, planes go to northwest Europe and the remaining fleet to seazone 6 that way you have 8 units deadzoning seazone 13. And against a potential med shuck you want to stack Italy and trade France (which seems counter intuitive but you want the production spots). I am only 30minutes in so I don't know how it develops it does look like the US has both Finland and medshuck available. Considering the small number of infantry I'd go north)
It seems all the videos I watched so far from Cobra has been defeats, does he ever win at all. I did watch other players on YT and it was mainly wins with some defeats.

Also my philosophy is to post the games whatever the outcome, so people can see what strategies are effective. I could just upload wins but that wouldn't be real. Thanks for watching!
@@Cobra-2177 It was so one sided that if your way lower rank versus a top 30. It should be a bidding system (not ranked) or if not then your screwed as it would be an easy win farm for him against you.
@@UnicornGamingRX03 this wasn't a ranked game. I know FattyD2 he's one of the best players in the game so we played a custom game, so people can see how platinum players play and think about the game. Probably no way I get matched with him in ranked you're right about that.
Although the game was not so well played its still entertaining to watch your gameplay and hear your thoughts on it .. keep it up! GG!

What a game. The only thing I can give you credit about is you didn't give up in Round 4. I am glad you didn't but watching this was very painful

Agreed. German tank rush is typically not a good option during a solid KGF.
