My late father had severe dementia and lost a lot of the things he could do as his eye sight and hearing got worse. Yet to his dying day, he would go for long walks with my mother and I. He passed two years ago in his sleep. All I really want to say is be there for your father as much as you can and be strong.

Reminds me of my grandmother who passed away from Alzheimer's in 2011. The beauty of it is that she was set free from all her cares & pain, her spirit now remembers me again, and everything that was.
