I bought a set of camera sunglasses by oho sunshine and this is my review of them after haveing them for a month they are waterproof (i didn't test that) 64 gb internal storage 1080p and have a built in microphone. Camera sunglasses oho sunshine 1080p. They aren't the cheapest spy glasses out there but they are pretty good! Full hd hidden camera spy glasses unboxing and demo! @@FamilyPopTV just would like to let you know that the SD card thats inside is upgradable. Going to add a 512gb SD card. Will allow me to record for 43 hours of 1080p 60 fps. Just remove the screws on the side with the button and also, remove the rubber on top of the screw and you will be able to remove the screws and upgrade the SD card. Make a copy of the settings and add it to the new SD card. Overall it's pretty good. Just bought mine so yea. I'm just letting you know and for others to know about it too. Enjoy.

Thanks my dear Otters:) the quality of the OhO footage is pretty nice, i reckon if they would add the proper image stabilisation and 4K/5K resolution it would probably beat gopro in many situations.

Definitely can see the limitations when put up against the GoPro but impressive nonetheless, especially when you consider the price. Would have loved to have had a pair of those many years ago when I was a teenager. It will be interesting to see how the technology progresses.

ive had 3 Sunnycam sports edition spy glasses and after almost 12--14 weeks of using it
, the record button always breaks . No matter how soft you press it , its made of really bad cheap material
In HD version I had, there is a rubber button. However it seem pretty well built, I used it countless times and no issues at all

Folks, I haven't used the glasses in over a year and I have forgotten how to format. I remember that you open the text document and you write Y instead of N on the file, you save and then safely remove but doesn't seem to work. I'm missing something. Can anyone help?

Did they eliminate the buffer writing to SD card interruption problem they had on another model? You could only record for a few minutes and it paused recording to write to the SD card.
hi. I haven't had any issues with the recording being interrupted, once I ran the battery flat and obviously it stopped recording without any warning. I agree, the glasses would benefit having a proper battery level indication - or at least charging level indication, as you've mentioned in the other comment. This could be improved in the future models.
btw. I wish OHO would add the image stabilisation, I wouldn't mind paying a little extra just to have this feature, optional.
@@FamilyPopTV This must be the reason mine was so cheap. It was probably a design feature they changed. I wonder if there's a software solution in editing that would stabilise the recording if you inputted certain parameters or conditions your were recording under, e.g. walking, riding in a car, performing a task standing, etc..

hi. It wouldn't be the best option for driving footage in my opinion, the battery and therefore the continuous recording time may be a limitation here..

Hi. Unfortunately, you can’t zoom in/out. It’s adjusts the focal point automatically, more or less same way as gopro, if you will hold the ti y print close (approx 20-25cm from the camera) it should be captured just fine

Hi. As far as I remember, press and hold the little pin button to turn it on. The same button also switch on the video recording (also press & hold), during the video short press snaps the photo

I want to know the lens angle. Is it a 110 degree wide-angle lens?
The viewing angle of the OHO glasses measures 63 degrees wide - that’s what I dig out.
In the video you can see the comparison between oho camera and gopro hero black (which is 122.6’ wide, giving the image that fish-eye effect).

It depends on your helmet;
If you can wear normal sunglasses underneath your helmet, these spy ones will fit as well.

Ya, but what about the issues with UPLOADING data from the glasses to a laptop? Do a video on the "way", problems experienced, possible solutions, etc.
You didn't talk about if you could put it on an extended battery or an extended hard dri need hard drive for more storage space

I don’t like that there’s just one switch to perform 2 different tasks--- Govision pro 3 have 2 switch’s-- one for stills and one for video-- much easier and less screw ups with this system.
Yeah, I 100% agree, this should be designed better (let’s say, having separate buttons as you’ve mentioned - or touch responsive sensors at both sides).
How do I view the recorded videos? on windows 10, or android.
Hi. The videos are recorded in .mov format, you can watch it on windows10 and android without installing any additional codecs.
This particular version of OHO glasses hasn’t got a Bluetooth connectivity so the video files have to be copied into the PC via usb cable,

I have these but I can't get them to download on my phone
I've never tried to download the captured footage straight to the phone, as my oho didn't have the WiFi or Bluetooth feature. If yours connecting via WiFi then there's an app which allows to transfer captured content to the phone.
If you got oho sunglasses without WiFi/bluetooth (the wired version), then you probably won't be able to transfer the content to the phone via the cable (it'll work with pc/Mac though).

It depends on your country of residence, however I would recommend Amazon in the first place.

Hi. You'll have to plug it to any pc to dump the captured video material. The glasses being visible as an additional drive once plugged to the pc, so drag them a d you can watch it on the PC.

I only have iPhone or iPad can I transfer videos ??
@wollo16074 can't confirm 100% but it should be doable on iPad, as it recognises external devices as drives

How do you know when the battery is full?
As far as I remember, when it’s charging the tiny red led light is blinking. When it’s fully charged it’s either lit up still or goes off.

unfortunately, the model I have reviewed goes as far as 30fps.

hi. Apologise for my late reply. The format of the videos - 1920x1080 px, 30fps, mono (1 audio channel) MOV files with AVC compression similar to dashcams.

I purchase a set to take photos. Unable to take photo unless recording video at the same time. Unable to stop video recording unless you turn off power. Short battery life due to being in record mode from the time you turn them on. No stand by mode. Also no instructions to set date and time.
Oho Sunshine camera sunglasses are the best you can get for your money's worth!
I Like these for Fishing,,, trying to use your phone when you catch a big fish is a total pain in the ASS.
Why doesnt Oho have a clear lenz for their glasses? As that one guy said in the video, why are you wearing sunglasses at night. Also probably not very good for indoor recording. Thank you for the great video review.

From a practical point of view, I would go for 4K option I possible, as the video material can be the cropped out and/stabilised if necessary in the post editing,
May I know why you think oho is better? I've read some reviews stating oho is not really 4k resolution as advertised, not sure about the ivue
Hi. I haven't had a chance to check the 4K version, so I can't confirm whats the actual resolution of the captured footage
Here is an update folks it will work with a 128gb SD card using SanDisk. Use the one for 4kw uhd. I bought both the 118 and 256gb. It wouldnt support the 256gb ss card. Still not bad at 128gb support thats a good amount of video recording when doing road trips.
theres a 128 gig model thats available.
@@poisonpen26 found it to be cheaper to just add the 128gb SD card. Instead of spending more for the 128gb version. And I added a 18650 for longer run time as well.

Hi. I don’t own the oho glasses anymore, but yes, it can do the recording while you reading. The focal point of the lens sets up automatically on the close-up objects, e.g books.
Just bought a pair of these... Hope that you weren't show some outdoor shots in the rain... Or in a pool.

I would have give an A if you reported what, if any, safety standard rating the glasses have for eye protection (ANSI Z87, Z87+ or USA MIL SPEC: MIL-PRF 32432 & 31013.
An A+ if you had mentioned if they record sound.
Lastly does the memory card come out? Can it accept additional memory?
You could easily reupload the video review with this in text appearing somewhere on the screen.
Not trying to cut you down, it’s just that anyone shooting, motorcycle riding, skydiving or participating in any other potentially dangerous sport or situations would have to know these things.

Hi. It sounds like you may have either a faulty cable - or faulty unit.
Once connected, the glasses should be visible as an additional drive (like SD card).
I would suggest to swap the cable. Either way, replacement or return/claim money back :-/

This excludes cable issue then. You may also try different USB port, just to make sure the problem isn’t related to usb socket.
Do you use PC or Mac?
Technically windows 10 should see it straight away, but may require to format the glasses as a normal drive (please refer to the manual, if NTFS can be used, or ExFAT file system).
In windows, a ‘drive letter’ conflict is a common problem with removable devices, I would recommend to check this too (please Google it if unsure),
In Mac just use disk utility, (fix disk or erase disk).
Not sure if this would be of any help - but I’ve been plugging the glasses straight to our tv to watch the videos, and this worked fine.
Would recommend to try everything first to make sure, the glasses are not faulty.

1 hours total recording time due to battery is a real bummer.
12 hours total recording time would be nice
eventually even super thin normal looking glasses will have cameras recording our entire day, or maybe 4 days recording on one charge. instant download to computer when you return home, with your entire life saved with all people identified and transcripts audio/text keyword searchable whenever I want from my computer. I could just type in a friend's name and instantly see any video discussion i've ever had with them and all the text key word searchable. would be convenient when you forgot something.
Google glass v2 would be worth try, apparently the battery lasts one day, instant upload to cloud, and tons of features. But enterprise device has an enterprise price:)
